The media could not be loaded. Worked miracles on my 613 blonde bundles, I used the water colour method, it literally toned the hair instantly! No joke, not even 1 minute and the hair turned silver/ icy!!!It’s very pigmented so if ur using this On very light blonde hair, work it in fast or dilute it first, cos if it sits on one spot too long ur hair will literally turn purpleA little bit goes a longgggg way, so there’s no need to be generous with the product, especially cos of the thickness of this product it spreads easilyUnless using it on orange hair, then u want to be generous, apply it on dry hair instead and leave it on longer, instead of lathering it up? Try to keep it purple on the hair, so ur hair can absorb the toning pigmentCos of the Toning agent it’s quite drying on the hair, so make sure to deep condition ur hair after using thisDon’t know what other ppl are talking about cos I actually like the smell, it’s like a warm spice smell (like a nutmeg scent)This definitely works on yellow hair and orange hairUPDATE: tried this again to tone orange/ brassy tones on my clip ins after highlighting themI applied this and left it on for 20 minutes maybe longer, it worked!!This won’t turn ur orange hair completely grey/ashy u’ll need a toner at a salon for thatbut it will definitely makes it look like a better tone (golden ash/caramel brown w/o the ugly ginger undertones lol)5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me

This is a vintage product.I used it (as well as the conditioner) 27 years ago with such great results that, after using lots of other brands, I decided to come back to it.Nothing changed, except for a few tweaks in the formula, I get the same results and feelings I had when I first used them :- this shampoo is deep cleansing and now silicone-free, slightly moisturizing (there's no squeaky feeling after rinsing), it lets hair with body and gives a nice pearl hue (neither too blue nor too mauve) to neutralize yellow tones,- the Shimmer Lights signature fragrance is exactly as it was when the line was launched more than 30 years ago (I remember feeling it strange when I smelt it the very first time, it's neither sweet nor sugary, and yes it smells like old-ladies) and I LOVE that smell, especially as in my mind it is associated with the results.LOVE LOVE LOVE ♥♥♥

This is only an intial review, as I have only used this once, but so far I am really pleased! I have baby fine dark blonde/mousy hair, which I coloured with John Frieda Precision Foam Colour Medium Ash Brown about 9 weeks ago. It also has a lot of home done highlights in it. I obviously have red tones in my hair, because no matter what colour I dye it, it always ends up fading out to a horrible gingery colour. The medium brown has done this quite badly, and the highlights are not as noticeable as they were when I first put them in. They too are a gingery/golden colour.But...I used this purple shampoo for the very first time yesterday, and although it is subtle, there is a difference now. It doesn't look quite so gingery...it definitely looks better. What has shocked me though, is the body that it seems to have given to my fine hair!! I don't style it in any way. I just use three styling products and then rough dry it with my fingers and a hairdryer. After using this shampoo, it appears brighter, more volumous and even my slight natural waves are really noticeable! I didn't expect that!! The smell of the shampoo is very noticeable, but I personally don't find it a horrible smell....to my snozzle, it just smells clean, and quite nice (and I really dislike strong smells usually).I asked my hairdresser about it last week, and she said that it should help, and recommended to leave it on for 15 minutes. She said that the conditioner was not really needed, but after asking about it on the Bolo questions, I decided to order it as a sort of afterthought, although it was more expensive to buy them separately. The general consensus seems to be that the conditioner also does quite a good job of taking away brassiness.What I did:- Washed with the shampoo and rinsed- Put more shampoo on and left for 15 minutes while I had a nice long shower, shaved my legs etc- Thoroughly rinsed my hair (you've gotta' get all of this shampoo out or it might stain your pillowcases or towels purple!)- Used my new Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime conditioner Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Diamond Colour Intensive Mask 200 ml for 1 minute- Used my Tangle Teaser Tangle Teezer Salon Elite Professional Detangling Hairbrush Pink brush to get the tangles outUPDATE:The conditioner arrived, so I gave it a go. I can still clearly see that these products brighten and lighten highlights, but I don't see that the conditioner added any extra brightness. Just something to be aware of...you do need a good 30 minutes if you are going to use both the shampoo and the conditioner (following my hairdresser's advice to leave the shampoo on for 15 minutes). This involves shampooing, rinsing, shampooing again and leaving on for 15 mins, thorough rinsing, conditioner on for 5 mins, even more thorough rinsing, then making sure that you give the shower a good spray over to make sure that it doesn't turn purple! This is a long time to spend in the shower. You can't really get out and do anything, because both products are going on wet hair (not towel dried), so you would be dripping purple product all over the place. I am still really pleased with the results, and the body that it has given my hair. You will DEFINITELY need some kind of detangling brush though. My hair was even more tangled after using the conditioner.UPDATE: Have used both the shampoo and the conditioner several times now, and am still really pleased with the result, despite the fact that i have dyed my hair again and put more highlights in.

So far, so good. Definitely has brightened up the blonde part of my ombre hair which was looking rather brassy. i would say that it works really well on the blonder strands straight away - the older blonde parts needed to be brightened up but i have no doubt this shampoo would work on it straight away if i did. For now, i am sporting a purple colour so no need for the brightening shampoo! ;o)The only negative comment i will make is that i REALLY wasnt keen on the smell so i would use this stuff first and leave on for a few minutes then wash again with normal shampoo to dilute the smell a bit...i have no idea if this affects how it works or not but i had to do it!also, please do not be scared by the bright purple colour of the shampoo...this is totally normal.

el producto llegó rapidísimo, y realmente funciona. Me ayuda a que mi rubio no sea tan amarillo, sino más ceniza, y me mantiene el pelo así, cosa que me encanta. Un día incluso lo tuve más tiempo puesto, y las puntas (que son blancas) me las dejó lilas! pero a la que te lavas el pelo un par de veces con un champú normal, se va esa coloración. En resumen... lo volveré a comprar sin duda.

Ich habe es mir auf anraten eines Kollegen bestellt .da mir das herkömmliche silbershampoo auf meinem stark blondierten haar oft zu schnell zu blau wird. Ich bin total zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis meine Haare behalten ihren grau Stich und sie glänzen toll.Das einzige was mir Persönlich nicht gefällt ist der starke lavendel Geruch aber das ist Geschmackssache .sonnst ist es ein rund um tolles shampoo Preis Leistung ist auch gut .

Muy buen shampoo, de verdad matiza los tonos amarillentos y, dependiendo de qué tan claro es tu cabello, los puede dejar de un tono plata muy bonito. Yo lo uso para unas luces que tengo y queda muy bien, lo uso 2 o 3 veces a la semana y cuando lo aplico, lo dejo actuar por 5 minutos antes de enjuagarlo. Muy recomendable, no reseca el cabello.
