Great product the focused stream and spray are really good as they both generate a decent enough pressure to release a fair amount of water . Also the metal build is a preference as the plastic hozelock stuff is questionable . Overall the 2 streams have large enough variability as well being able to stop water stream is great for gardening all year round.

I bought a 2 pack of these made by Karcher, they were ok but plastic. I ended up breaking both of them just by dropping the hose so I got this metal one. It's way better, dropped a few times and no sign of breaking. Good spray adjustment. This is the one you want

You know how every now and again you come across a product that you never knew you wanted until you got it and then you wonder why on earth you didn't get one years ago? Well this is just such a product.We live in Spain and the hose is on one side of the house, the pool and plants on the other, I kind of got fed up turning the hose on and walking all the way round the house with water pouring all over the place when I wanted to top up the pool. Furthermore watering the plants meant four or five trips back and forth with watering can in hand and lethargy led to the unnecessary death of many's a good plant!Well no more, I can leave the water switched on and let loose only when and where I want to, my plants are in pots arranged around the pool, a quick spray and they are done, to top up the pool I just push the red trigger button and the stream is continuous until you click it again. Heck it's actually good fun to play with so watering the plants and filling the pool are no longer a chore. The heat here makes plastic go brittle and break quite quickly, this is a good weighty metal piece which I anticipate will really last.One thing to bear in mind is that you will also need a hose connector to attach it, that's no biggie, I go mine for 1 euro eighty cents at the local ironmongers.Seriously, go for it - a bargain!

I got this after getting fed up with the cheap ones failing.Wish I’d have just got this from the start as it’s really good quality and I guess time will tell but I’m expecting it to last.

Bought this 'metal' Hozelock gun as it appeared on the surface to be a more robust design .I am a user who is fed up buying the full plastic Hoselock guns which last no time at all. Anyway the 'metal' gun failed after only 7 months use. Failure mode was the inability to depress either of the 2 triggers - flow and lock. Managed to partly dismantle the gun by removing the yellow inlet adaptor only to find the white plastic valve assembly displaced from the trigger position and trapped in the inlet chamber. With small screwdriver and thin pliers, the white stemmed internal valve/seal was rearranged by good fortune to the correct position and the gun is now operating correctly again BUT FOR HOW LONG//. An expensive item such as this simple assembly should ensure a more robust design. I have now purchased a much cheaper metal spray gun which is less aesthetically pleasing but perhaps more reliable? Needless to say it is not of HOSELOCK origin
