I was shopping for fibreglass discs as I'd just killed my last one from the original box, and though I may as well stock up on some resins while I was at it. I find these are better for slow jobs, ie when you're not going straight through metal and don't need full speed ahead cutting power. For example on ceramic where you need to be a little more careful and accuracy is more important than speed.The resin ones do break more easily, especially if you're not careful with the speed or pressure. they're a lot cheaper to replace though, so I guess it depends on your handyman needs.These come with mandrels as usual, I dislike this design and think it's way too prone to shearing - especially on the rubber washers - but it is universal design so will fit just as well on my dremel as on my knockoff rotary tool. This is a big plus for me as I don't use them enough to go round buying separate specialist pieces for each tool. I haven't come across one yet that is not prone to this.I like the resins on thinner woods and tiles. You can go slow and accurate, which is more or less how most of my jobs go.

I would give no stars if possible! These discs are very brittle, not fit for purpose and a joke really. Be lucky to cut paper with these discs. Two discs were broken on arrival. I'm returning for a refund.

Difficult to say with this product really, shipped and packaged well by the supplier but for what i needed them to do they were a little bit off the pace. Needed to make a small cut into a brake cable metal coating but these discs were a bit fragile. Not a problem as I misjudged this, and they may come in useful for other jobs but not up to cutting rigid metal.

I used this to cut off a piece of brass on a snow foam adapter. I broke one disc but I had got some good use out of it. You have to treat them gently but they do work and for the price I paid I can’t complain.

Bolo really ought to stop selling poor quality products just for the sake of sales. The small screw which is supposed to secure the discs to shaft came out easily when adding a disc and would not secure itself and the disc. The threads in the shaft were rubbish without even using a screwdriver. More poor quality from the Far East. Shockingly bad. ‘Pile ‘em high, sell ‘em cheap’ is clearly the ethos behind their supply chain.

in a nut shell, the first reviews of this product sum it up perfectly. they cut well and perform the same as disks you can buy from dremel for 10x the price.i will back up another reviewer in reminding you about EYE PROTECTION. it is an absolute must! i was cutting a small bolt at work when i just tipped my wrist slightly and the disk shattered. i felt a very sharp, very fast piece of something hit my forehead, ever since i don't use my dremel without EYE PROTECTION. i got a pair from B&Q for about £3. its worth it to save your eyeballs from shrapnel!

I dischi tagliano benissimo anche l'acciaio ma bisogna saperli usare.Innanzitutto montare bene le rondelle di gomma sul perno che sarà infilato nel mandrino, altrimenti le vibrazioni rischiano di spaccarlo. Il taglio deve essere delicato e paziente. Se si fa così la lama è eccellente e durevole. Il numero di dischetti è sufficiente per una vita!Grazie
