Initially my box of pens didn't write... they had all formed ink blobs on the end.Easy fix - simply pull the blob off of the pen's point....they all write BEAUTYfully now.(I really inJOY writing and these pens are worth it and quite satisfying to write with.) xx

Being a student, I do a lot of writing. I've tried loads of different brands of pens, trying to find the one that I can sustain writing with for long periods. Up until now, my favourite pen to write with was the cheap and cheerful Bic Crystal, but after using these for days on end during revision periods, the shape really started to cause some pain and swelling to my fingers.I thought I'd try the Paper Mate, and I was very impressed at how comfortable they were to hold; and it glided across pages very smoothly whilst writing. It matched the Bic on smoothness on the page, and definitely surpassed on comfort.The only downside to these pens is the very short life. They give up the ghost even when there's still about 3cm of ink left on the inside tube. Seems very wasteful to chuck away a perfectly fine ''case'' because the ink inside runs out quite quickly.The pens are still worth it, in my opinion, if you can put up with the short life.

These pens are great everyday, basic ball pens. The barrel is a good size making it easy to grip and with its rubber and ribbing, never slips. It retracts so doesn't leave marks on anything when you put it down - and has no lid to lose!The pen itself is extremely smooth and very rarely 'blobs' like other such pens. It seems to last a decent time (although because this is the large, it does run out quicker than say a Bic Biro. Then again, because I like it so much, I tend to stick to it and maybe use it more than I would so possibly not a fair comparison!). Definitely highly recommend to anyone as a good writer!One negative is the title of this item is 'medium black' but a size large nib was provided (1.4mm nib writing a 1mm line). However, this is actually very happy with this so wasn't a problem for me personally!Only other point to make, as someone else said, it's a real shame (and not very 'green' at all) that one has to buy whole new pens when they run out - pack of refills would be great!

I regularly use these pens and seeing them at a good price I ordered the box of 12, (also bought 12 Black pens). They should last us a while. Service was good and they were received quickly. A fine product with a good sized writing head.

Extremely smooth. Perfect if you need to write quickly, so very helpful when making lecture notes at uni. One issue is that the flow rate is a tad too high in my opinion. It can cause excessive ink to be on the page, resulting in smudges, since I'm a leftie. Although it could also be because the ink does not dry too fast. Great pen for the proce though and these minor issues don't outweigh the smoothness you feel when writing with it.

Super pens, particularly if you like a broad 'nib'. These pens write boldly and are very comfortable. I have been unable to find refills for them yet which is a shame, but for a box full, the price is good.

Pen holds really well in the hand works fine. only downfall with this particular pen is that it can stain a little bit if your used to drawing with your hands on the paper. But for the price i would reccomend.
