I ordered the product so unsure if I made the right choice, but I can tell you know I made the perfect choice. I am a very amateur artist, to say so. The product came very well packed, and it looks so great, believe me. It is very easy to assemble, no tool required. Also, the product has all you need, it depends now on what you are looking to do and also bear in mind that it is not a wonder set, it is a painting set. I bought extra 3 painting brush sets (but I kinda over do it there, too much enthusiasm 😊) and you will need at some point to buy separately some extra white colour, as it runs out pretty fast being needed in loads of mixes (or not, depends on how you prefer to use your colours). You have to wet the brushes to have them soft when you first use them; also whilst you paint, keep the brushes in water, otherwise the bristles will dry and become rough; after using them, if you used acrylic paint, wash them with water and soap, put them in some water with some clothing softener, leave them there for few hours (or overnight). Then take the brushes out, don't rinse them, but leave them to dry horizontally on a clean cloth for few hours. After that, put them with the bristles up in a dry cup or whatever you prefer to use. The box supports nicely a canvas. By the way, the box set comes with two small-ish canvases, the one in my photo I bought separately, and it's bigger than what you will receive. But this doesn't mean it is wrong, it is meant to fit in the box set. Anywho, I am so very happy with my purchase. And another tip, look on youtube for different "how to" stuff, you will find loads of tutorials.

Purchased as a gift for my partner. The set includes tonnes of different mediums and painting tools, representing great value for money. The storage box/easel is well built, yet small enough to still be portable. The number of draws/compartments allow for the storage of all you'd need. Very impressed with this set for the price.

BUYERS need to know that the item has a high chance of turning up with damaged content as the SELLER does not place "fragile" and "this way up" on the box...Although the external part of the item is of high quality and secured properly the inside is a mess...im glad i checked inside before wrapping this up for Christmas. Inside the chalks were all broken in half. The wax crayons were not secured and therefore have stained the inside of the easel and some are broken....after cleaning the item down it is salvageable. However it now looks used. All the seller needs to do is place a thick foam or bubble wrap piece in the top part of the easel box to prevent the pieces from falling out and put stickers stating the item is fragile and this would prevent this. I hope future sales do not turn up in the state it did for us.After all this i agree it is a lovely piece and perfect for beginners serious about art...Would not recommended for younger children as this item should definitely be appreciated.

I have had this product for a month or so now and have found it really excellent. You get an awful lot of value for money in terms of art materials and the easel if very useful, if a little on the small side.What I ended up doing was taking a larger piece of MDF and have used that to extend the easel so that I can mask A3 and upwards watercolours paper onto it. It works perfectly and was a simple way to enlarge the workable area.If you are an artist I would highly recommend this as a good portable easel (the materials would cost you more than the price of this on their own when bought separately).I'd also highly recommend this if you were thinking of buying it for an artist or a budding artist as a gift. I am sure they would be delighted with it as I have been.

A comprehensive collection of paints with a built in easel. This is great for storage and the paints are really good quality. if you enjoy doing paint by numbers then you will be able to colour match very easily. The box is made well and is sturdy.

Just received this item today. Check before presenting to anyone as a gift as a lot of the contents had been dislodged from their holding. After tidying the set up I was more than pleased with the contents. This is for the discerning art lover not recommended as a childs toy as the contents are pretty sophisticated, eg acrylic paints etc. The whole set is contained in neat compartments and should be eveything my A Level Student Daughter will need, as I have heard her many times moan about chalks and acrylics that she hasnt got. This has the lot and she can keep it all safely compartmentalized in the sturdy wooden drawers. Great buy, well worth the money!!great dispatch !!

Love, Love, Love. I ordered this for myself, I am a 30+ year old mother of 4 who used to be quite artistic in my younger years, but stopped when I had children. I was so happy when I received this! The wooden case is BEAUTIFUL! It really is a very nice, wooden case. The workmanship on it is great, and it is very sturdy! I would recommend, if you like the look of the wood, stain or seal it right away, before you being working with the easel, because the wood will get stained with pencil, paint, etc. I like the look of the paint, etc, the "used" look, but others may not. Assembly of the easel (basically putting a few nuts and bolts in) was super quick and easy. My 4 year old helped me. I love that the easel is adjustable to your favorite angle, etc. I originally put the easel shelf (the little wood piece on the front of the easel that holds your work at the bottom) on the right way, but then I ended up turning it around, so that I could reach the bottom of the canvas easier. The drawers are great, if not short in height. Everything in the case comes in black plastic which holds it all in. I immediately removed everything from the plastic and threw the plastic out. I sorted my own supplies and added with these supplies and bagged them, and sorted in the drawers. You can fit a lot of stuff in here, I have several sets of acrylics, including the larger liquitex tubes, a few sets of oils, a few sets of water colors, many more paint brushes, and my drawing sets of pencils, etc. I love this case, it is portable, useful, I love the easel, I love the drawers, it is very nice looking, and I would definitely buy again. I am thinking of buying one for each of my kids, to use as they get older. The pain and brushes are good quality, the other supplies are good, and useful for "trying out" lots of different techniques.
