Bought these to go on my Bosch table saw. After 1 year of use I replaced the original factory blade with a Forrest Woodworker II, thin kerf blade & added these at same time. Considering all the advantages of using a thin kerf blade, the only disadvantage i could think of was having a kick-back that could cause the blade to flex or bend a bit & possibly ruining a very expensive blade so this was the solution. I also purchased a zero clearance plate to go with the new blade/ balancer setup. As (bad) luck would have it, i had a kickback happen within first week of use & boy was i glad i had these installed as it didn't cause a bit of damage, warping or balance issues to my nice new thin kerf blade, it was still like new. I really don't think that would have been the case without these being installed with it though. The hard kickback was as a result of not using the built in splitter cuz when i ordered the zero clearance plate, i ordered the one with the pre-cut slot for the splitter (my fault) which could no longer be used as these balancers moved the blade position about 1/8" to the right. I should have gotten the totally blank insert & cut slots for BOTH blade AND splitter, after installing.Also, since these are cut by laser (a big plus for accuracy) there were sharp edges around the outside, no big deal though, just took some 220 sandpaper & lightly sanded those sharp outer edges a tad to make them more "user friendly" whenever changing blades (to avoid sliding my hand/ finger & getting cut). That said, I'm super happy with the quality, fit & function of these stabilizers. If you're thinking of using a thin kerf blade, these are a must have in my opinion. These balancers, a high quality thin kerf blade & a new zero clearance plate made a huge difference in the way my saw performs. The thin kerf blade doesn't tax the motor when cutting long/ thick hardwoods the way the stock factory blade or other "standard" thickness blades would sometimes do. However, I wouldnt bother getting these if you're not going to be using thin kerf blades, as they didn't appear to make a big difference, to my notice anyway, when using standard thickness blades.

FANTASTIC! These Blade Stabilizers make my table saw more accurate, less vibration, noise reduction and smoother cuts. I think the price is too high, but it was the only place I could find them. I'm happy with them, I would have been happier at around $20.00. However. still very good product.
