These crates do not sit inside each other when empty, I feel it necessary to say that as even when empty they take up the full 84 litres of space. However, the blue handles click down over the lid to keep it firmly in place and there are supportive ridges along the edges of the box, further strengthening the already strong plastic. They are pretty much fully transparent (there is some translucence) but you can easily see what is inside in each box meaning you do not have to rifle through all of them to find what you are looking for. Best of all, they lock together when stacked to create a very sturdy tower. I have used Really Useful before and will definitely be using them again. Whilst affordable, they are not the cheapest storage box out there, but the build-quality means you are getting what you pay for. Recommended!

This arrived very promptly in a HUGE box that a teenager could have hidden in (very useful in itself if you are a drama teacher!). I used it several days later to pack up all sorts of camping gear in the car and it has been great - v strong, practical and well worth the money. I think I shall probably use it to store all my fabrics and sewing kit as there is just so much room and keeps everything clean and damp free too. Excellent buy!

Purchased this box to store miscellaneous stuff up in the loft. The box is big! But that's what I wanted. The only issue I had was because it was so big, I wanted to fill it up to make the most of the storage space, which meant it was then too heavy to carry up into the loft! So it's now in the shed. I suppose it would depend on what you fill it with though. I only bought one of them as it's quite pricey for what it is, but I suspect I will be buying more when funds allow. Regarding the actual box, the space inside is good, there's no awkward side bits sticking out to ruin the rectangular shape, so items can stack well inside. The handles secure nicely and it appears the boxes will stack well if I purchase more. The box is very solid and sturdy. It's not quite air tight though, so as I've put mine in the shed I will be adding some silica gel packets to keep the moisture at bay.

I am using this to store my 8inch SCT telescope, using the original packaging as a base. The box accommodates the telescope with a focuser, star diagonal, finder scope, and still has room to spare on all sides and the top. Perfect for those trips out to a dark site!The plastic structure feels quite rigid, the lid fits well. Handles under the lip at either side provide a firm grip for lifting and carrying.

Ordered these as moving home and wanted something strong for all of my books - they are perfect. Added bonus is the box they are delivered in is also ideal for packing. The only downside was I ordered a total of 4 all on the same day and 1 arrived one day, another the following day and the remaining 2 the day after. So in total I had to arrange 3 days to take delivery. As they were all ordered together I was hoping they would all be delivered together. Only a small moan though and I shall certainly be ordering some more.

If you've got large items to store, this box does the job. It feels well made, has good clip handles to keep it closed, and holds a lot of stuff. We've got most of our camping stuff into one box (except the tent itself). It does cost a lot of money for what it is, but we've had a lot of plastic boxes crack on us, and this one feels like it'll last a bit better.

We bought 14 and our house looks much cleaner now!

Love these boxes, the best around. Beats the alternatives hands-down 'insert large homeware and furniture store, 4 letters'. We just bought six of these and are going back for another six. Buy with confidence.Slight hitch with delivery as the estimated date was several weeks away. No problem, they are worth the wait. However they were dispatched with alacrity and I did not receive notification of either dispatch or delivery, so I was not there to receive the truck. Off they went to Nantes and stayed there for a fortnight. But look, they are such great boxes I can overlook it. Just let me know when these ones are coming!

Ho avuto qualche problema con il venditore che a sua volta ha avuto un ritardo con la fornitura e quindi mi sono arrivate con molto ritardo ma non avevo fretta e quindi ho aspettato ma il venditore e' sempre stato molto presente e la comunicazione e' sempre stata tempestiva e cortese. Purtroppo l'imballo poteva essere migliore considerato che arrivavano dall'Inghilterra e due delle 4 scatole che ho ordinato sono arrivate con il coperchio leggermente danneggiato. Ho deciso di tenermele cosi' perche' l'ingombro era veramente notevole e il danno non preclude la solidita' e la funzionalita' del contenitore.L'articolo e' eccellente, solidissimo, molto ben rifinito e ottima collimazione quando impilato. Buone anche le maniglie e pratica anche la chiusura a scatto. Consiglio al massimo l'articolo, ho qualche riserva per il venditore che pur gentilissimo e dalla buona comunicazione, se non ha avuto responsabilita' sul ritardo non si puo' dire lo stesso per l'imballo davvero troppo minimale.

...diese Boxen sind perfekt für alles in jeder Größe, stinken nicht nach Chemie, absolut stabil, mit Deckel (kommt keine Spinne oben rein :)...ich bin süchtig nach den Dingern (kaufe schon seit 10 Jahren bei Bedarf, nur noch diese Boxen) bei mir im Keller stehen bestimmt 20 Stück schön gestapelt übereinander und nebeneinander an einer Wand, alles perfekt untergebracht, von Büchern, über altes Spielzeug, Dekoartikel die saisonbedingt sind und Sammlersachen (die halt normalerweise im Keller verstauben) stehen jetzt perfekt und staubsicher im Keller schön geordnet. Man sieht sofort was drin ist und muss auch nicht ewig suchen, wenn man mal wirklich was braucht...( ah die Kiste so und so, einfach reihe runterbauen und rausholen).So einen ordentlichen Keller hatte ich bestimmt noch nie, beim Umziehen wird der Keller sicher auch der erste Raum sein, welcher von der ganzen Wohnung dann am schnellsten umgezogen ist. Ist ja schon alles in den Kisten :)) hatte vorher übrigens schon diverse andre Sachen getestet, über Bananenkisten, Klappboxen etc. aber wirklich nichts hat meinem Keller soviel Ordnung gebracht. Danke an den Erfinder dieser perfekten Boxen....
