MOST OF THEM ARE DAMAGED AND NEVER CLOSE PROPERLY. EDGES ARE SHARPE AND QUALITY IS RUBBISH. CAN'T BE BOTHERED TO RETURN THEM.

This product represents excellent value. It’s a shame that their advertising is incorrect (thus one dropped star). I wanted larger than normal sized box files and this suited my needs exactly. Imaging my disappointment when they turned out to be normal sized box files. Contacted the company, but they weren’t interested! Shame - shall not be using them for any future purposes.

There are two things that make these files extra good.For me, the most important aspect of them is that they are just sufficiently bigger than normal foolscap files to take old-fashioned large copies of sheet music. That was my main intent when hunting for suitable files, and these are the only ones - they are 265mm wide and not the bog-standard 245.I also like the access hole in the spine - so much better than a plastic tag which will break off.It gets five stars from me - like any box file, unless you pay the earth, it won't stand up to rough treatment, but then you just have to take care of them!

Avoid at your peril.Ends, which should be card, are just flimsy bits of plastic pressed on.The main body is card but half the standard thickness so the thing has no rigidty.Lid locks don't work.Trying to sort out an Amzon return but is proving difficult.I'll probably just cut my losses and use them as firelighters for my woodburner.
