This is an example of teachers dipping into their own pockets to buy classroom supplies.A large number of my students do not have the ability to bring a pen to my lesson. Interestingly, many of them can bring an £800 phone and never forget it a single day.They, therefore, request a writing implement, and having gotten sick of said pens and pencils being destroyed, thrown around the room, etc I decided to loan the most spartan of writing implements.This half pencil is pretty much perfect for my needs.I will be purchasing more in the future I have no doubt.

I make handmade notebooks and pads and this set of 144 little half pencils are so economical to attach to the books. I really like them, they sharpen well and write well. I am very happy I found them here on Bolo, I was not sure where would actually have such a thing. I even thought of decorating the pencils as they are plain but that was a step too creative even for me :-))They all arrived already neatly sharpened and in a box. Easy to store them in the box they came in as it was quite strong.Great for lots of things but probably great also for quiz nights and kids parties and so on.

Purchased these for my 2 young kids learning to write. They find holding these pencils much more comfortable due to the size.Pros:Value pack of 144 - we get through a fair few!Size - perfect for little handsConsWe've found on a number of pencils in the pack after a few sharpenings there is no pencil lead, so we end up throwing them away after only a few uses.Would buy again as the quantity of pencils makes this good value even though we end up throwing away some after a few uses.
