Purchased this to open up a geode with my 8 year old daughter, along with a geology hammer (which is basically just a hammer!) Very good quality item, allowed us to carefully chisel a hairline crack along the rock which we then inserted the chisel into and twisted to pop it open. It doesnt have a widened end in which to hammer so you need to be careful and accurate! perfect for the job it was intended for, unsure what i would use it for now unless i start making doll house furniture!
