It really is hard to get a decent wax these days. With the proliferation of beards today, it seems everyone is jumping on the wax bandwagon. Many are using marketing ploys to present themselves as long standing traditional manufacturers of the product. This includes using gentlemanly sounding names and traditional gentlemanly images and packaging styles. It really is frustrating. Out of the very few waxes that I have tried I have found this wax to be the best out the bunch. This is probably because one of my first experiences was a paraffin type wax that was that hard that I couldn't even get it out of the tin, let alone spread it on my tache. In any case, this wax is a creamy wax rather than the paraffin type.This said, the neutral colour is actually white and it can be very bitty, it requires proper warming between fingers and plenty of combing through. The wax dries sufficiently hard for me, but it can be still combed through later in the day if a top up re-style is required, it doesn't disappear or disintegrate like hair gel does if a recomb is done. Ive found that heating the comb under a very hot tap (then shaking water off) helps disperse the wax through the tache and reduces bittyness. More recently I have tried the brown version of the wax, but I have found this rather too dark, and as my beard is medium Brown, it made the areas where wax was applied look dyed and much darker in contrast to the rest of the hair. So do note that the Brown is indeed pretty dark. The Brown also gets on the skin and is obviously noticeable unless cleaned off. Thus the extra faffiing around cleaning it off the skin has simply become just more hassle and more time. For these reasons I intend to go back to the neutral. Also, do note that the actual amount in the tube is much less than what appears, the bottom of the tube requires rolling up about at least three times before any wax emerges out of the top, meaning a quarter or even a third of the tube casing could be removed to fit the exact same contents inside, which I feel is a marketing ploy that is deceitful (call me naive). This said however, I am not disputing that the stated weight is inaccurate in any way, but visually you do believe that you are getting more product than you actually are. So I guess this will do for now and I will continue to explore others.

I've got an approx 5 inch moustache either side, and this holds it really well. A little goes a long way, and the included brush is super useful.For an 'every-day' wax, this is perfect, giving enough hold for an evening, and being easy enough to use that you can top it up if needed (say in a club, dancing, or out in the rain). A droop is never an issue with this.Recommended.

I bought this last year for the Movember thing with the intention of growing myself a handlebar moustache. I can't say that this product helped all that much at the time but then I wasn't sure if that's because the 'tache wasn't long enough, because I have a particularly unruly crop of top lip fuzz, or whether this just isn't man enough for the job.I have now had another crack at the task of growing a handlebar 'tache. It's got to a much greater length and I am finding that the Clubman wax is much more effective with more hair to keep in check. The application can be bit messy in that it's recommended that you squeeze some onto the brush that comes with it, brush it through, and then comb it with the stiff comb on the back of the brush. This works OK and the messiness isn't too much of an issue as the wax washes off fingers very easily so, as long as you don't do anything stupid like touch dark clothing with it, you should be alright. Once applied I generally leave the wax to dry off for a bit before trying to finish off the shaping. The wax has a pleasant lemony / piney sort of smell and isn't a burden to have under your nose all day. The wax comes in a squeeze tube and is a thick cream texture which is easy to work into the moustache with the brush and comb and also good to use as re-shaping agent on the fingertips.I have seen complaints by other reviewers of flakes within the 'tache with the neutral wax and I can confirm that this can be an issue. I don't think that it's an inherent issue with the wax, I think that it's just that the wax dries fairly quickly and if you are still fiddling with the shape of your moustache when this happens the dried wax forms into little balls / flakes which then get caught in the hairs. If you make sure that you get any wax off your fingers before you style it's much less of a problem. The wax itself can be a bit visible within the hairs but as long as you don't go mad with it it shouldn't be too bad. Unfortunately, I'm still not finding that it's keeping the wayward strands in line. Again, I don't know if that's simply because they're not yet long enough for basic principles of leverage to take hold or the wax itself - I've tried using VO5 hair fibre gum as well and that doesn't fare any better. Given that the VO5 gunge is about the toughest sticking compound short of Araldite I am considering that it might well be, at this stage, like trying to keep piano wires under tension with blu-tack. It's just never going to happen.The compromise I tend to make is to use the Clubman as a base layer and then use Bounder as a top-up throughout the day. Bounder is handy for this as it comes in a small tin which fits in a trouser pocket easily, isn't too messy, and has a pretty firm hold. The Clubman wax dries off quite a bit shortly after application but stays slightly tacky, so if the fuzz takes a battering in stormy weather it can be pressed back into shape for some hours after the wax has been applied and will stick reasonably well. I do find, though, that it needs some back up, which is where the Bounder comes in.I have also just purchased a pot of Captain Fawcett's wax and used it for the first time this morning. This may, possibly, take over from Clubman as it has a solid consistency in the jar but turns into a thick and slightly oily paste when scooped out with a thumbnail so may be a nice crossover between the two.I shall try to persevere with lengthening the lip decor and update this review if it's warranted.

By far the best moustache wax. Mine stays up all day, no matter the conditions. and my moustache is quite long- about 4 inches either side.The tube is also great as you can just keep it in your pocket and use if you need to keep it up.

My first and everyday choice of moustache wax - flexible, yet firm, this keeps my moustache in good order from the moment I finish my ablutions til the moment I switch off my reading lamp. Good stuff, but I recommend a good quality moustache comb as opposed to the weak thing in the packet.

Holds pretty well, not quite for a full day.Easy to apply and mould but you do need to be quick about doing so as it sets in a minute or two.No real smell to it.Would recommend if you want something quick to apply before an evening or such.

I've used Clubman Moustache/Beard wax for years and have always thought it one of the best. It's a tad pricier than it was but it lasts a long time. Happily (in my opinion) it is not heavily scented it just does what you want it to do - and that is hold you moustache in place all day.

I like this mustache wax the best out of the ones I have tried. I would have preferred the ones in the tin but they were either way too sticky or didn't hold at all. This one strikes a nice balance.

Ogni corretta valutazione non può prescindere dall'essere rapportata all'esborso. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo.A fronte di una spesa limitata si acquista un buon quantitativo di cera di qualità che a me personalmente dura circa 4/5 mesi. Non consiglio il prodotto per chi vuole modellare rigidamente i baffi. La cera è indicata per chi vuole tenere un baffo in ordine, anche lungo come, ma non modellato con forme particolari in quanto la forma non reggerebbe più di un'oretta.Il profumo agli agrumi è molto piacevole. Il risultato è di tipo opaco e naturale alla vista. Se vi piacciono effetti lucidi o lucenti virate su altri prodotti.Lo spazzolino per il baffi lo trovo abbastanza inutile, non l'ho mai utilizzato. E' la terza volta che acquisto il prodotto in quanto dopo averne provati a decine è l'unico che ha un buon profumo e lascia il baffo morbido al tatto senza togliervi il piacere di accarezzarvi il baffo durante la giornata in quanto unge anche molto molto poco.

Würde ich immer wieder bestellen. Ist das beste was ich kenne um haare so an die haut anzukleben um sie so zu überschminken das man sie nicht mehr sieht. Zb. Augenbrauen. Selbst wenn man danach mit mastix oder artex über die haare geht bleibt nichts in den haare kleben. Das wax selbst lässt sich ganz einfach mit warmem wasser entfernen.
