5.0 out of 5 stars loved this manga
Good story, probably one of the best one-shot manga ive read and the book came in good condition.
5.0 out of 5 stars This is my favourite book of all time
Goodbye Eri, and Look Back is Fujimoto's best books by far, I don't want to spoil any of this but genuinely this book made me cry and after reading it I felt a feeling of sadness knowing there wont ever be a second volume but I think that's what's so perfect about it because I think having another volume would ruin it even thought I want one, this is my favourite book of all time and no one can change that(Please if you want to read something like this buy Look Back, i thought it was about some kid making just a random comic but its so much more, it also has its own movie aswell)there is a crease on the book in the image i sent but it did not come like that it was because i had it in my bag
5.0 out of 5 stars A Haunting Masterpiece That Deserves the Screen
Goodbye, Eri is nothing short of a masterclass in storytelling. Tatsuki Fujimoto delivers an emotional gut-punch wrapped in surreal, cinematic beauty. From the very first page, you're pulled into a story that blurs the line between reality and fiction, grief and performance, truth and narrative manipulation. The paneling feels like watching a film unfold—each frame is deliberate, each cut purposeful. Fujimoto’s talent for pacing and visual rhythm absorbs you completely, making it impossible to stop reading. Just when you think you’ve grasped the story’s direction, it pulls the rug from under you—again—leaving you breathless, uncertain, and deeply moved. The emotional weight is incredible, layered through themes of loss, memory, and the desire to create something lasting. This isn't just a manga—it's a conversation about life and death, about how we tell stories to cope and connect.Goodbye, Eri needs to be adapted into an anime film or limited series. Its structure is tailor-made for the screen, and the impact it would have with sound, motion, and score would be nothing short of profound. Until then, this manga stands as one of the most unforgettable one-shots I've ever read. An absolute must.

(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } This one shot is very unique as far the manga medium is concerned. The story is very well crafted and the art just compliments it to the best. Would recommend it to anyone looking for something different and beautiful. Overall a great read!
Goodbye eri

I've read it more than a thousand times, and believe me, it doesn't disappoint, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something new
Goodbye Eri
One weird thing about my relationship with Tatsuki Fujimoto as an artist is that his main work, Chainsaw Man, is a story I never connected with and hated my time reading. However, last year I watched the adaptation of his work, Look Back, and it was my second favorite film of the entire year. Now, I read this one shot, Goodbye Eri, and I finished all of it in a single sitting, I am absolutely in love with this story.I can probably write 50 paragraphs about this story and how it covers the relationship between an artist and his or her creation, but I don’t need to do that because the story speaks for itself, if you haven’t already or are hesitant, I highly recommend giving this manga a shot.
