5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent nutritional book for people wanting to eat natural foods!
I bought this book many years ago and I lost it, so it was good to see a copy of it advertised on Bolo recently. It is just what I wanted as I wish to change my diet into eating more mung beans, lentils etc. It is a very informative book.
4.0 out of 5 stars A good introduction to Ayurveda

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good book and easy to read.
Very useful introduction to Ayurveda.I read the book within days and I have tried the golden milk recipe on page 60. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it!
3.0 out of 5 stars This book doesn't really work in audible - buy the paperback or kindle version!
The 3 stars is for the audible version and I feel a bit mean about this as I think I would have probably given 5 stars if I'd bought the book. I listened to the sample and thought it sounded so interesting but once I'd got the whole book I realised that this is a book that does not translate well into audible. Unfortunately, listening to it just feels like you're being read one long list and it just doesn't work. However, I've since had a look the paperback preview and will probably go ahead any buy it because it does look interesting, concise and accessible - just not in audible version!
5.0 out of 5 stars An eye opener xx

Me encantó
Libro perfecto para personas que quieren empezar su aventura con Ayurveda. Lenguaje muy cómodo y fácil de leer. Recomendable
Good introduction to Ayurveda for non-Indians
Bought it as a gift for a foreign friend. It’s written from an outsider’s perspective covering just the tip of the iceberg called Ayurveda. The content is elementary and easy to understand. A good read for non-Indian nationals.
Great for a beginner!
Im a complete beginner and found this book really easy to read and understand. I think it will be quite simple to implement into my lifestyle also. Great book!
Too high level
It has a very very high level and mostly westernised version of Ayurveda. Some concepts are also missing. I would recommend other books like Vasant Lad’s which are easy to follow and have all the relevant info. It’s probably for someone curious about the subject but not interested in following it deeply.
Practical
-well written and interesting to read-complex concepts explained in a easy and comprehensive manner-all in all a good beginner’sguide
