I bought this book on a whim as I had a passing interest in electronics. I thought it was just a basic introduction, but it isn't. I knew some very basic stuff, and this book refreshed that, but it has so much more in it.The author has excellent economy of language and never puts in more information than is needed. It is in easy steps too. This is one of my favourite text books, because of its economy. It might push you to watch some videos, not because of lack of clarity of the text - but because it insires your interest.

Really great reference and learning guide. A must for the DIY beginner in electronics. I checked out a few other books and they all fell short!
