About the Author
John Wagner has been scripting for 2000 AD for more years than he cares to remember. His creations include Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Ace Trucking, Al’s Baby, Button Man and Mean Machine. Outside of 2000 AD his credits include Star Wars, Lobo, The Punisher and the critically acclaimed A History of Violence.
With over 300 2000 AD stories to his name – not to mention over 250 Daily Star Judge Dredd strips – Alan Grant’s prolific creative record speaks for itself. Outside the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic, Grant is well-known to Batman fans following a lengthy run on various incarnations of the title. More recently he has adapted Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novels Kidnapped and Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde in Graphic Novel format with artist Cam Kennedy.
Perhaps the most widely respected comic writer of the modern era, Alan Moore’s contribution to the comics world is incalculable. Creator of some of 2000 AD’s most popular series, including Abelard Snazz, The Ballad of Halo Jones, D.R. & Quinch and Skizz, he has also worked on A.B.C. Warriors, Ro-Busters, Rogue Trooper, Ro-Jaws’ Robo-Tales, Tharg the Mighty, Time Twisters and several one-off strips. Outside of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic, Moore is best known for his work on the classic Watchmen, which redefined the superhero genre in 1986, but this is simply touching the surface of a career which has included 1963, A1’s Warpsmiths, Bojeffries Saga and Maxwell the Magic Cat, AARGH!, Batman, Big Numbers, Brought to Light, Captain Britain, Deathblow, Flesh and Bones, From Hell, Glory, Green Lantern Corps, Lost Girls, Miracleman, A Small Killing, Snakes and Ladders, Spawn, Supreme, Swamp Thing, Superman , V For Vendetta, WildC.A.T.S. and Youngblood. Moore is now owner and chief writer of the America’s Best Comics line, distributed by WildStorm, and including Promethea, Tom Strong, Tomorrow Stories, Top Ten and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which has been made into a major Hollywood movie.
One of the most prolific writers in the comic’s history, Gerry Finley-Day holds a special place in many 2000 AD fans’ hearts as the creator of classics like Rogue Trooper, Fiends of the Eastern Front and The V.C.s, as well as Harry 20 on the High Rock and Ant Wars. A keen “ideas man”, Finley-Day’s concepts of the horrors future warfare had in store were key to both Rogue and The V.C.s’ continuing popularity, ensuring that their recent return to the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic was well-received. Finley-Day also scripted episodes of Judge Dredd and Dan Dare, and co-scripted much of Invasion! (and entirely scripted the prequel story, ‘Disaster 1990!’).

5.0 out of 5 stars Spooky childhood memories
This is a great ,hardback collected copies of all issues of Scream! I used to buy the comic at the same time as picking up 2000ad. Dracula and Monster are my favourite memories from reading them as a 10 year old. Well worth the price.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book, just buy it
If you're looking at this book, you obviously know what this is and you won't be disappointed. Great edition to your collection.
5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, Scream is back
Scream was one of the great British comics of the 80s, and ever since it's unfair demise on issue 15 fans have been wanting reprints of these great strips. This collection does not disappoint.Collecting all 15 fangtastic issues this is a large volume. The paper is thick and glossy, the reprints clear with inky blacks and the whole thing feels solid and of high quality. The strips themselves are great, as they always were. Beautiful art, spooky stories and creeps.Exactly what fans wanted. Now, if only the weekly comic would return, but I fear it would be watered down somewhat in this day and age. This is a beautiful book. Scream fans will love it. It was my favourite comic then and this is my favorite collection now. Highly recommended.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent collection
Read the Scream comic when it was released in 1984: never missed an issue.Great to see it’s not been forgotten and published in this premium format.Great also to read stories from writers who went on to much bigger recognition such as the genius Alan Moore.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great

5.0 out of 5 stars 40 Years of Scream!: The Archival Collection
Amazing collection of all the Scream comics in one edition and even though I own all of the original comics I still felt that this was an important purchase to have them all in one place and nicely printed.Excellent print quality and i picked it up at a great price that came very well packed (not sloping around in a a large box that's happened in the past but carefully wrapped in two boxes).Very happy purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wow I'm 13 again
I ordered this Ages ago when I first heard about it. It arrived yesterday and as soon I took it out of the packaging and realised that this was the childhood memory I've been waiting for. Nice and heavy,a good size and the front cover black and white with Scream in shining silver. Printed on glossy paper with original covers in full blood curdling colour what more could I want. Some stories I remember like it was yesterday and others a total suprise. I love it very much and would recommend to anyone who loves Scream or even other Horror Comics from past years like vault of Horror and Tales from the Crypt. Enjoy 😊
5.0 out of 5 stars Nostalgia!!
It's the 80s again and I'm enjoy some harmless horror. Scream! ended before its time and its nice to see the 15 issue run printed on quality paper. Well worth the price of admission.
