This series of 10 minute weekly work out books are really useful for home study for school kids and home educators. Each week has a mixed test which covers different aspects of the curriculum allowing for challenge, review and consolidation of knowledge. It also helps to see where any gaps in knowledge exist.The books are good quality and well laid out. Interesting tasks which are representative of exam style questions for this age.Answers provided in the back.Recommend.

One of the things I appreciate most about this workbook is its comprehensive coverage of the KS3 science curriculum. It covers a wide range of topics, including biology, chemistry, and physics, ensuring that my child gets a well-rounded review of all the essential concepts they need to know.The format of the workbook is also highly convenient. The 10-minute weekly workouts are perfect for busy students like mine who may not have a lot of time to dedicate to studying each day. Each exercise is concise and focused, allowing my child to complete them quickly and efficiently while still gaining valuable practice.I also like that the workbook includes answers. This feature has been incredibly helpful in allowing my child to check their work independently and identify any areas where they may need additional help or review.Overall, I'm very impressed with this science workbook. Its comprehensive coverage, convenient format, and inclusion of answers make it an excellent resource for any Year 8 student looking to reinforce their science knowledge and improve their skills. This is a book of ten minutes tests covering the year 8 science syllabus, the book is split into Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with separate tests for each strand of the subject.There are 15 Physics, 9 Chemistry and 12 Biology tests, 36 in total over the school year.Each strand starts with a recap test then moves thought the year 8 syllabus and ends with a recap of what's been learned.The answers are included and there's a master score sheet at the back to track progress over the year (see photo).This is an effective way to recap, consolidate work and identify knowledge gaps out of the classroom in ten minutes a week. Our teen is whizzing throughout the book, catching up given it's near the end of the school year and estimates the tests take on average 6 minutes.We use CGP for every level of schooling from infants school up and can't fault it.

I got this to help my 12 year old, who is in Year 8 with his science.The topics seems well matched to what he's learning and he has been able to answer most questions.The book itself is quite thick and there seems to be a lot of information in there for the price.My son seems happy (as he can be with homework) and we both like the fact that it can be broken down into smaller sections, which makes it a lot more manageable.I'm looking for the maths version of this, just to supplement what he's learning at school and give him a bit of extra help and going forward, I will be looking for the Year 9 versions too!

I always use these guides and I genuinely think they are the best ones (from a teacher and parent point of view) like the quizzes in this one which actually supported the revision session I was doing well plugging gaps.
Great supplement and support
No only has work problems, but teaches the lesson and shows step by step. Good for summer refresh as well.
