What a fantastic book! Not only does it help with acting techniques, from finding emotion, learning the script and improvisation, it also focuses on creating a powerful mindset to help overcome any self-doubt and fears that are getting in the way. I wish I could have read this at the start of my acting journey! It’s clear to see that so much time and experience has gone into this book making it a high quality read. Michaela has helped build my confidence and to develop a clear strategy to achieve my goals, which has led to a huge shift in my approach to acting and believing in myself. I would highly recommend it!

I am starting my journey in acting and this book really has it all to give me a solid grounding to work with. From understanding acting technique, script breakdowns and understanding the basic such as objectives and actions... But the main power of this book is the mindset section. Help guide you on confidence, resilience and a positive mindset in life and especially in acting. This is unique as I've never seen such a complete look at acting and the mind together in one book! From first time acting to experienced I feel anyone can learn and grow with the use of this book! Easy 5* .

I absolutely love this book, I’ve read other acting books including Stanislavski An Actor Prepares but this puts them all in the shadows, It’s the modern day bible for the modern day actor. My Acting journey started 3 years ago and i really had to push myself mentally to do acting classes because i was lacking in confidence and self esteem, but this book also helps with your mindset and helps you become not just better actor but helps with the many issues that stop us moving forward, its ground breaking and everyone needs a copy, so don’t delay order one today

Fantastic book from start to finish!I loved how Michaela was so open writing about her own personal experiences.The mindset part enabled me to realise my self sabotaging behaviours and the excuses I was hiding behind.I found the acting techniques so useful, especially how to break down a script and the tasks to cement learning were great.Definitely worth a read and especially for anyone starting out in the industry - there are some real gems about how it all works - 10/10!
