This book is a must have for anybody approaching "natural" cosmetics- or anybody wanting to know more about how stuff works in skincare, hair care routines, which ingredients have which proprieties etc.I personally found the book quite informative, although quite basic. Nevertheless a good reference book I will certainly continue consulting in the future.Very beautiful pictures, and very clearly written.

An easy to read, informative and inspiring book. With a little help from books like this we can all make more informed choices about the cosmetics we put on our body. It's time for the big cosmetic brands to find their conscience and stop using nasty ingredients. I for one will be checking out labels and asking more questions about products before I buy.

So useful for fans of cosmetics, like myself, who want to learn more about the impact to the environment and what different chemicals do in common cosmetic products. Imelda explains it all in easy-to-understand terms, ideal for novices and experts alike. Thoroughly recommend.

It is an interesting reading but I missed coloful pictures and maybe a bigger list of ingredients to avoid , more recipes. The authour talks about many topics but none in depth.

I have so enjoyed this book.A lot of stuff I knew , having run my own natural bath products business for a few years.But I also learned a lot too. I will certainly be trying the home facial massage!I have long been of the opinion that if they need to advertise their product then I don't need to buy it!
