A great workbook from CGP. Full colour pages with a variety of fun and attractive tasks this is perfect for 5-6 year olds, with the support of a adult to help with the text (though in practice they should be able to read some of the words themselves).Not only does this help with science, but there is great reading and writing practice here as well, plus chances to be observant and artistic as well. This book includes exercises on "Our world" (including weather, day and night, and the seasons), plants, animals (with the body - including the senses- mammals, birds and fish), and materials. A really good first step in science that parents and children will enjoy.

Bought this to supplement home learning. Shes enjoyed it so far and the pages are detailed enough for her to learn something new but brief enough that it keeps her interest. Lots of topics covered.

I don't often write reviews but during the lockdown my daughter has really enjoyed doing this book and has learnt alot. Its the only book she has managed to complete

This is a fab book great for covering all the year 1 curriculum. Appropriately scaffolded for early starters and those who might a bit of support, it might need a bit more challenge for those high attainers. Lovely illustrations and great to suppory teacher input.

Helpful for English as a second language
I use this book for keeping up my daughter's English which she acquired when we lived in England 3 years ago. And it's just right for her. She's 6 years and she understands the texts and can do the tasks without much help:) it's helpful to have authentic English Material so she doesn't forget her English :)
Highly recommended, great graphics and information
Really good book, easy to teach my five year old because topics are in bite size pieces. Each topic is only a page long with only key information highlighted and key questions asked to summerise the learning points. Really recommend
