I thought it was useful it had varied ideas and was just what I was looking for as my aunt knots and has lots of left over bits.She hasn’t told me how it has gone so I don’t know how it is from a knitters point of view.

With the help of this book, I am slowly but surely working through odd bits of left over yarn and creating items for our Church craft stall. The patterns are easy to follow and varied and the techniques are clearly listed at the back of the book. I have not used hardly any other patterns for several months now. Highly recommended.

Good product, was well received as a gift. However I did see the same one in a store for a fraction of the price so maybe bear that in mind.

I personally was disappointed by this book and wouldn't recommend to others. Not a large range of patterns, and really basic or boring. Nothing in it has jumped out as something I want to knit.It isn't really suitable for learners, and you would need to purchase more wool to complete some projects. It doesn't want you to rush to try out patterns and no fresh ideas. Sorry! Another book for the charity shop from me.

A good way to use up leftover yarn

I usually end up with small amounts of yarn after knitting a project and this book has some good ideas on how to use up my stash of odds and ends yarn. Some of the ideas were new versions of things I've done to use up the extra yarn in the past, but there were some things I hadn't considered for projects.
