Grate comic book 10/10 story, DC compact is an amazing way to collect some of DC best stories, I would 100% recommend this edition, it has everything you want from the paperbacks or other editions but in a more comfortable "compact" style!!!

This was a fun Batman story, where Bruce is up against a group of assassins, with deep ties to Gotham.The first thing that jumps out at me in the book is how good the art is. Every page is crisp, with stunning lay outs and beautiful colouring. Capullo adds another stunning run to his already stellar career.We also have to acknowledge the excellent work by Snyder, and how this Batman run was his breakout book, with his touching Bruce and Alfred relationship, to his exciting, action packed stories.Its worth mentioning that DC's compact comics line is great too. Smaller, easier to store books, at an incredible price, are an great incentive to take a chance on a book you might not always go for. It's what encouraged me to buy and I'm pleased I did. Now you may ask, why did you only give it 4 stars then? To be fair, I can't really say for certain, but there are other books I've given 5 stars to that really did deserve it, and unfortunately, Court of Owlsdoesn't quite match up.

This is a great collection of The Court of Owls saga, which is a brilliant story with beautiful illustrations. However, the nature of the compact style means that the writing is quite small, which meant it was a challenge to read, even with my reading glasses on. Regardless a great buy (for those with better eye sight) and arrived quickly and in perfect condition.
Great value
Great get for an awesome storyline. You get 300 pages with colour and some extra covers at the end. Would recommend to newcomers and to people who would prefer a more portable edition of the run

A must own saga.
11/09/2024Was expecting it in two days it instead became a next day delivery so that was a plus. Came in good condition with no tearing or bent pages. Book was smaller than other graphic novels I own. But it's only an observation more than a critique. And it's a thick book so you're going to have a lot to enjoy with. Will edit with a review on the book itself in a week as this is first a review of Bolos delivery of the product itself.Edit: 1/17/25 I realized that the compact was the reason the comic books are this size. I am glad because it makes it useful for travel and it's at a great price.
