I've followed Gigi on Insta for a few years and have always loved her recipes. When she announced she was writing this book, I was there in a shot, pre-ordering it. It's a wonderful blend of information, photographs, nutritional information and of course the easy to follow, high protein, plant powered recipes. No messing around with difficult to find ingredients, these recipes contain standard, easy to find, easy to use and tasty ingredients and did I mention plant powered protein? So far I've made the tofu breakfast pancakes (delicious), snickers overnight oats (beautiful and kept me full all morning) and harissa butter beans with zingy yoghurt sauce (super tasty and it’s already become one of my favourite ever meals). I knew I’d love this book, what I didn’t know was just how much I would love it. Honestly, it’s truly outstanding – as Gigi says “oh mamma”.

This book has a great variety of hearty meals to cover all types of cooking time you might have, ie one pot, quick dinner, snacks etc . One of my favourite parts is the intro at the start of the book, as there’s a whole section dedicated to explaining the importance of protein, fibre and a balanced meal, and also ideas on protein sources you can store at home.Each recipe also comes with the protein content written below.If you want to start your healthy and yummy food journey, this is a comprehensive recipe book and a fun way to start!

I love this book so far, it’s very tastefully designed and most of the recipes have photos alongside. It’s packed with colourful meal ideas, which use standard ingredients you can get at the supermarket and don’t take hours, genuinely want to try everything in it! Have made about 10 things so far, the marry me lentils, broccoli bites and courgette falafel are a few highlights and are super tasty while also being really quite healthy, packing in protein and fibre. A practical book you’ll come back to again and again.

Hands down THE BEST cookbook I've ever owned. So many of the recipes require simple ingredients you already own (or easy to purchase), plenty of flavours and dishes for different occasions. I have at least 3 of the recipes on weekly rotation and my family and I never get bored (especially the 8 year old!). LOVE LOVE LOVE this book and recommend it to anyone, vegan or otherwise. Go GiGi! 💖

I received it as a Christmas gift, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favourite. The focus on protein and fibre makes it perfect for anyone looking to eat more intentionally, and the author’s expertise in plant-based nutrition shines through. The introductory section is packed with practical tips and myth-busting insights, making it very informative.So far, I’ve tried three recipes, and every single one has been a winner! The harissa butter beans, spinach and sweet potato dal, and butter bean blondies (which I cannot stop eating!) were all simple yet packed with flavour.One of the things I appreciate most is that every recipe includes the protein content per serving—a game-changer for active people like me who want to fuel their workouts properly. Highly recommend this cookbook for anyone who wants to eat delicious meals without overcomplicating things!

Even though I’ve been vegan for over 20 years, I’ve mostly lived off convenience food — quick, processed stuff just to keep going. This book honestly changed that. It helped me shift into a whole food mindset without making it feel like a chore.The recipes are easy to follow and full of flavour. Some of the combinations sound odd at first, but once you try them, they just work. You can tell it’s been created with both nutrition and real-life cooking in mind. I’m eating better, feeling better, and actually enjoying cooking again. Five stars, no question.

I LOVE this Cookbook🌱💚 It is well designed, photos are inspiring. The protein content listed for each recipe is so helpful and the fridge/freezer storage info is very useful. The recipes use ingredients that are easy to obtain, they are clearly written and just so delicious! My husband is really enjoying them and he can be wary of vegan recipes. I bought this alongside another high protein cook book and this wins hands down! The recipes are so easy to make and every one so far has been delicious! As someone with a chronic illness I really can't stand for hours in the kitchen but still want to make healthy nutritious food for me and my son! This ticks all the boxes, lots that can be made and still stay good the next day or later in the week. Also the ingredients are all very accesible, thay you can buy in most places which is needed for me, not being able to go out everyday to specialised stores for 1 ingredient.Having a sweet tooth I have tried all but one in the pudding section already and all have gotten 5/5, even from my non plant based son! Brilliant book!!

I had already been following Gigi for a while and her recipes were always really good and pratical.I've bought the book not only to support her but also to have new recipes that were high in protein since we train a lot. Me and my wife already tried a lot of recipes and all pretty easy to follow and really tasty. I've incorporated some of them on my weekly recipes.She uses mainly simple ingredients that are easy to get unlike many other vegan recipes that require 10 rare ingredients.

Love this book! It not only has great recipes, but it is so informative/educational regarding the various types of plant protein, cooking methods, storing methods, recipe protein and fat content, etc. beautiful images too, which I always find helpful! I am not on a fully plant based diet, but bought this due to being lactose intolerant and just to add some healthier options into our meal routine. The desserts are the best part for me. If you can’t do milk or lactose, you know the struggle of finding GOOD dessert recipes without those ingredients. I’ve made several from this book and they are delicious!
