I help women lose weight, and one of the challenges is finding healthy, high-protein recipes that are also delicious and easy to prepare. Backed by nutritional advice, explained in a clear and helpful manner, I now purchase this book as a gift to help my clients get started in a positive way.

I was put off initially as some of the ingredients id never heard of, but they were easily sourced and not too expensive. Every recipe ive tried I have loved, so tasty. The meals and quick and effortless in a lot of cases, and im now hitting my protein goals easily without the need for shakes or powders. Some of the recipes are calorific but because portion sizes are generous and have a really good balance of fibre protein and fats-im always full and have stopped snacking- i've actually lost weight and feel much healthier. My energy levels are much more consistent. Even the kids have liked the recipes

I received this book yesterday and it looks fantastic. I’ve started to read the nutrition advice at the beginning of the book which is really accessible, highly informative and well-researched. There are quite a few recipes containing meat or fish and seafood which I don’t eat, but this should increase the appeal of the book for a wider market. There are plenty of great plant-based recipes. I made the overnight protein porridge with cinnamon, turmeric and cacao, served with berries, nut butter and kefir and it tasted amazing. Each recipe states protein, fibre and plant points which is so useful. Excellent book.

This is a really fabulous cook book and I’ve made absolutely loads of recipes. The book would be even better if the index was more comprehensive- for example if you have a key ingredient (eg salmon)and you want to find a recipe that uses it, you can’t just look up all the ‘salmon’ based recipes in the index - I didn’t realise how often I use this function in other recipe books until it was missing in this one!I hope Dr Rupy produces more cook books as I’ve really enjoyed this one!

I wasn’t expecting the book to contain so much content and recipes, but I should’ve known better considering Dr Rupy’s previous books. And this is by far his best book to date.Dr Rupy explains the importance of protein going beyond just muscle repair. He shares 3 core pillars to use for building a healthy high protein plate; in all my struggles of knowing whether I’m eating well, this bit of guideline has pieced all of it together for me.The book has been put together so well. The content in the book is evidence based and all the pictures are beautiful! There are lots of tasty looking recipes for food and drink. So far, I’ve tried the salmon tikka bowl; it was as delicious as it looks.My copy of the book arrived with a bit of damage to the front and back cover, so I’m exchanging it. However, this doesn’t detract from the quality of the book and it would be unfair to give it anything less than the 5 stars it deserves.

I'm not a vegan or even a vegetarian but I work hard at getting plenty of plant based foods into my diet.I'm also keen at all times to get plenty of good quality protein into my diet. I've found this book great in terms of practical and clear device in relation to both increasing plant based foods and protein in the diet along with many delicious recipes.I'm also a Nutritional Therapist with a number of clients who are vegetarian or vegan so I have been able to use the information in this book with my clients

Delicious recipes loved by all the family. A tough mix of people to please, as the 4 of us have very different needs and preferences.- 2 teens one of whom is super active and always hungry.- My husband who is a foodie and a cyclist so needs huge amount of food, and prefers carb based meals to protein based.- Me, post menopausal protein hound trying to do the right thing for animals and the planet. Oh and also concerned to not eat too much.We’ve tried 4 of the recipes so far and everyone has loved them. WIN!! Have enjoyed finding less commonplace ingredients and learning some new flavours.Fantastic education too about how to get enough protein.

I'm vegetarian and had hoped that if I made a meal plan for 3 weeks using just the recipes (and quantities) from this book, it would help me increase my protein and fibre intake and help me feel fuller for longer and also lose some weight. The recipes are delicious but I found I didn't manage to lose any weight and just stayed the same. There are some tasty recipes but no calories are given (difficult if you want to keep an eye on calories). Some of the ingredients used are ones I'd never heard of before and I had to order them online.

Clear and plentiful information and answers your questions of what to do and eat. I'm very glad I found this book. I feel much better and it's been quite the game-changer. I recommend this book highly , whatever diet or lifestyle you follow.

Rápidas e fáceis de executar.O livro não desaponta e tem receitas predominantemente plantbased, mas que são facilmente adaptadas a todas as dietas, inclusive , gluten-free (o meu caso), através de trocas simples de ingredientes.Há todo um capítulo dedicado ao peixe e à carne, para quem os consome.Tem , também, um capitulo introdutório dedicado à Nutrição, conciso e simples, explicando os princípios básicos em que o livro se baseia: uma alimentação saudável, rica em nutrientes e anti-inflamatória.O livro, não desaponta e era a resposta que procurava pois sigo uma alimentação muito semelhante ao que o livro sugere, mas em carne, e procurava receitas simples, deliciosas e que permitam preparar , com antecedência as refeições para a semana, mas com especial foco na quantidade de proteína das mesmas, porque sou atleta e necessito ter esse cuidado.

Too much spice
This book has loads of information especially if you are looking for ways to fight inflammation. The recipes are full of spice. Not exactly a favorite in my household. So, be aware. I’ll be modifying these recipes. A bit disappointed in that but they have given me a good place to start.
