Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down,yet again another great book by Danielle Steel. who never fails too keep you gripped from beginning to end

I saw the reviews of this and should have paid attention to them. This was definitely not one of her best books. It was very repetitive throughout and for the first time ever I think, I found myself not caring much for any of the main characters. When ardith started sleeping with Josh and telling him she loved him just a couple of weeks after the death of her partner of 12 years, I could no longer get on board with her. And as for Morgan - for the most part she seemed like a brat who blamed her mother for not being around as much as she wanted in her childhood due to working away. I almost gave up with this book a couple of chapters in, and I wouldn't have felt like I missed out.

This is a story full of surprises!
Danielle Steel does have a talent for weaving a story that swings one way and then the other leaving you not sure what is next. Ardith Law, age sixty-two, is a famous Hollywood actress with several Academy awards, is waiting for a new script to come along while her gentleman companion and fellow actor Bill West goes off to London for the filming of his new movie. When Bill has a heart attack and dies, Ardith’s personal assistant helps her take care of arrangements and then life becomes really confusing. You will enjoy this book.

A story about a famous actress who loses for partner of 12 years and finds love with a younger man and her daughter also finds love but with a older man
