Our 9-year old is a Potter-head. She has seen all movies multiple times, collects movie replica’s and props and has recently completed her race through the books – which did wonders to her vocabulary and reading skills by the way. So she is asking for more.. but there isn’t much more. Except for these three additional books and the cursed child/Grindelwalt scripts. I was first looking to buy individual books of these tales, but wasn’t able to find a consistent range of hard cover copies. She has the full range of the 7 book Potter series in hard cover as I considered it an efficient invest so that her younger brother could enjoy them at a later stage. By now I know that she will never part with those books. Either way these hard bound Potter books are very nice and durable and hard cover copies of the 3 books seemed the way to go.So I was very pleased to stumble upon this friendly priced set. That also had illustrations of the fabulous Johnny Duddle on the cover. So it was an instant buy of course. So the books and the set looks very nice. And would do well as the perfect gift to any Potter–fan.Rather than allowing our daughter to add this excellent set to her little Potter library, I’m handing these books to our daughter one by one, insisting that she finishes a couple of other books first – which works remarkably well, though she is quite a book worm. Thought well known to viewer of the movie and readers of the Potter book, the Beedle the Bard tale is excellent, a classic in itself, I would say. And the other 2 books are great references.All in all very pleased with this purchase.

I bought these for my niece as a birthday present. These were a great addition to her collection as she loves the Harry Potter series and had just finished the books. I introduced her to Harry Potter as I was a big fan of the books when I was a kid and she now loves them as much as I do. JK Rowling is a fantastic author and I now see her as a great role model because she is a brave woman who is not afraid to speak up for the rights of children and women everywhere in a time when it's never been more dangerous to have an opinion that differs from the mainstream l3ft w1ng media.

My Daughter was thrilled about these. They are easy, short, non-complex reads compared to the HP series, but they are great little stand alone stories for any HP fan.
