Jessica Roux is a lovely illustrator and this is just another book to add to my ever growing collection of her designs! Perfect coffee table book with the beautiful illustrations. Folklore style commentary is a lovely take on a bird book!

My son bought me the other book like this for Christmas 2023 it has the meanings of flowers and beautifully illustrated, so when I found this had been realised I just had to buy it for my bird loving son for Christmas last year. It is just a beautiful book to own. They make such gorgeous display items too. I love it that we have one each that we have given each other

I bought this book as a treat for myself, along with the author's oracle deck, and what a delight!This is just incredibly creative and so beautiful to spend time looking at.As a huge lover of birds (having become obsessed with them for some reason in my thirties and now into my forties!) this is such a lovely book choice to have on the coffee table/at the side of the bed and to casually refer to as and when for a little uplift.Wonderfully priced, I'm sure anyone buying this will enjoy it (I can also see this making the perfect gift choice)

An amazing book with gorgeous illustrations! As a scholar in Victorian ornithology, I found this book both beautiful and compelling.

Al igual que Floriography, Ornithography es un libro en el que cada pájaro tiene una clara descripción del por que la atribución de significado. Las ilustraciones de las aves son hermosas y con el característico estilo de Jessica Roux. Sin duda es un libro que puede ser un excelente regalo para los entusiastas de libros, historia, o arte. También se pueden encontrar los pájaros del oráculo de los guardianes del bosque de la misma autora.

The illusions are just beautiful, and the one page on each of the birds drawn makes it a very inspirational read.

Such a gorgeous book! The corners of the front and back cover are easy to dent but the pages and images are beautiful. Content is straightforward - like a quick reference book.
Gorgeous, informative, and interesting!
This book is gorgeously illustrated and is full of history and symbolism I didn't know about the bird species shown. I'd love to see a sequel with more species in the future. Very well researched and an interested read, even if you aren't a bird enthusiast. I got it during a deal Amazon was running, so the price was also excellent! Honestly felt very moved to use the pictures and background info as inspiration for a future tattoo!
For the bird lovers.
