About the Author
Axel Scheffler is a star illustrator whose instantly recognizable, warm and witty illustrations have achieved worldwide acclaim and numerous awards. Axel is the illustrator of wonderful novelty, gift and poetry books for Macmillan, such as Fish Who Dream of Trees (Two Hoots) and the bestselling The Bedtime Bear, The Tickle Book and Mother Goose's Nursery Rhymes – and of course, he is the illustrator of some of the world's best-loved picture books, including modern classics The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo's Child, which together have sold over 17 million copies worldwide. Axel’s artwork is exhibited internationally; he has illustrated for many charities and designed the Royal Mail Christmas stamps in 2012. Born in Hamburg, Axel now lives with his family in London.

I previously bought the book 'Fox's Socks' and was glad when I saw this as a similar product. It's great value as you get three stories in one book. The stories/rhymes are lovely and the illustrations are very sweet. It's easy for little ones to follow and fun for them to lift the flaps and discover who is hiding underneath. My daughter loves this. The only downside is I usually end up having to read all three at bedtime as they're in the same book!

I love most of Julia Donaldson's stories and enjoy reading Mr Fox's Socks to my boys; they love playing with the book and have lots of fun lifting the flaps to see what's underneath. When I saw this 3-in-1 book from the same series, I knew I had to get it. I'm definitely not disappointed. It's a great size, well made. Nicely illustrated and the stories are great. I love how they have a nice rhyme and rhythm, so pleasant to read out loud.

Another treat of a book from Donaldson & Scheffer - catchy text and captivating illustrations. The stories are perfect for my 20 mnth old, with flaps to lift on each page, and the text is simple enough for my older child to have a stab at reading them. My only criticism is the dimension of the pages of this 3-in-1 edition - a little too large, making it difficult to turn the pages when the little one is sitting on my lap. Having said this however, if you buy the stories individually the book is smaller and easier to handle, so go ahead and add these to your child's bookshelf, you won't be disappointed.

A sweet library of little books for little hands. I've bought this collection to read to my grandchild remembering how much my own children liked to hold books even before they could read by themselves. For me, books are more than just reading, they're a whole experience, quality of paper and the editing and proof reading so they're without mistakes; the graphics and colours etc. are all as important as the content. This fits the bill on every front.

Yes, the books are very small, but they are the perfect size for tiny hands. The illustrations are very good. Some are repeated but it doesn’t take away from the quality or value. Makes a nice gift. Most of the smaller sized books just have single words, but this book set has stories. It helps make it more bearable when you’re re-reading the same books multiple times. They seem robust enough to survive my baby’s destructive ways.

Wonderful book that my 2 year old loves. Lovely stories and pictures with not too many words on each page and flaps to lift so she remains interested throughout. Great for younger children who sometimes struggle to concentrate on the longer Julia Donaldson books. Nice thick pages for a paperback book which I think will stay in good condition for a long time.

Very sweet stories and great value for three books in one. However, two of the pages were stuck together and so having managed to get them apart, it looked ripped before we'd even read it once. This was also true of one of the other books I purchased so I think it might be a publisher issue. Just glad it wasn't a gift.Still a nice book and I would recommend it, although for the same price on Bolo you can get The Tickle Book or Bedtime Bear which have pop ups and all sorts of fab paper engineering. Depending on what you're looking for. If you want to leave baby wih a book and not care too much about it, go for this one. If you want a more involved, fun reading experience with them, check out the others I've mentioned (and similar ones).
This is a gem
This book is just wonderful for a 2 to 3 year old. It has three wonderful lift-the-flap stories in one volume. Brilliant illustrations, short easy storyline for a toddler. The pages and flaps are really strong too. This book has been read so many times and still in excellent condition. An absolute favorite for sure. We waited about 6 weeks for the order to arrive and the wait was well worth it. We have owned it for over 6 months now and it is still a favorite bedtime book for our almost 3 year old.
