I can't believe that such a great book was free. Thank you so much. The 4 stars was based on my own gluten intolerance, I hope to substitute some of the recipes with GF options, and can't wait to try some.

There were some ingredients I have never heard up much less used. On the positive side some I could can main ingredient for a quick fix

This is the worst book on what someone needs to store in the their pantry when in an emergency ever written. It only has 8 pages which of tips and most of those are list's of items you need and the rest of the book are recipes. Of which over 20% are desserts. Who when faced with a disaster is going to worrying about being Betty Crocker/Martha Stewart and baking when their family need to eat to survive. The list of items once needs from the book has 5 different types of vinegar and no where in those is regular white vinegar. Let me see can I survive if I don't have rice wine vinegar. Yes I can. Do I need white distilled vinegar to survive and disinfect things Yes I do NEED that. The author has no idea what someone needs in an emergency they only wanted to write a cookbook but didn't know how to so they attempted to write a survival book and failed at it. Do NOT purchase this unless you want some recipes that you could find anywhere else. Nothing new or different and you need an over with temp control. Most people in a real disaster won't have that luxury.
