I’m using this book to teach an English unit to my year 4 class. I really love it and so do they. It is simple yet effective. We love the illustrations and it has generated some great writing so far.

Striking Wordless Picture Book with Sweet Story
Float is a striking wordless picture book. It tells the story of a young boy who creates a boat out of newspaper, once outside with his boat, a massive rainstorm arrives, his boat floats away, and the adventure begins! The emotion conveyed in this book is marvelous. We are caught up in the boys adventure...will he manage to rescue his boat? Will it be ruined? As with all good wordless picture books, the story in float naturally unfolds, telling itself. The illustrations are gorgeous, color is used sparingly, making this book a visual treat! Beautiful.

It’s a picture book. I gave this book to my cousin that has a deep connection with paper boats. The book has beautiful illustrations. The storyline is that a boy builds a paper boat... raining begins and then the boat is destroy. Boy gets sad and go home. The father helps the boy build another boat. This book can have many different powerful messages such as; if you fail, build again.
Cute book but I was worried for a moment what I had just bought.
Super cute book… but has no one seen IT? Illustrator definitely is a Stephen King fan 😂. Thankfully this book has a happier ending and doesn’t lead to where it appears.
