A superb Bible, clearly set out, with the Hebrew (read right to left), an interlinear English translation (the Lexham) and the text of the ESV alongside in parallel columns. One might say that since the traditional Hebrew Bible (Tenach) word order is not kept, this might detract from the authenticity of the Tenach. The text of the Hebrew is taken from the BHS (the Stutgartensia) The Hebrew text contains notes, but not too frequently, and likewise the ESV has the regular edition's notes added below. In the former, they supply reasons for certain translations, alternatives or textual variants. Unlike the RSV, the translation doesn't borrow too liberally from the Septuagint, but offers many of these as a possible variant, entirely situated below the Hebrew text. The Hebrew text is a pleasure to read, and as such, allows for a literal reading of the text to progress without using the English interlinear, or the text of the ESV to impinge too much on one's appreciation of the Hebrew. The Hebrew text is pointed, but does not have added grammatical explanations, which one might care to look up at one's leisure. The introduction to the Hebrew interlinear is very well written, succinct but clear.

This is a beautiful book. The Hebrew font is nice and large. The translation is literal enough to bring out the preciseness of the language yet translated enough so as to not to be overly cumbersome. The binding seems a bit dodgy, yet it seems to be holding together very well.

I know that some tutors are against interlinear Bibles. I personally have found them to be a great way to pick up vocab. Turn on an audio recording and just follow along. You will pick up a lot!

Ottima Interlineare Stuttgartensia Ebraico /Inglese
Interlineare delle Scritture Ebraiche di oltre 2000 pagine, estremamente chiara. Avvicina il lettore all'antico linguaggio originale Ebraico e Aramaico presentando una traduzione in inglese parola per parola.È quindi un potente strumento per esaminare il testo ebraico a prescindere da ogni speculazione Teologica avvenuta in periodi successivi e che spesso si discosta troppo dal pensiero rivelato.È una traduzione che però punta a rendere il senso del testo più che semplicemente tradurre letteralmente parola per parola le espressioni idiomatiche ebraiche .Nella riga sotto il testo ebraico ad esempio traduce il Tetragramma del nome divino con Yahweh, e nella colonna in inglese lo rende con il titolo" Il Signore ".Quindi un testo importante per gli studiosi della Bibbia ad un prezzo davvero contenuto.

He recibido el libro con una pequeña rotura en el lomo. Si no lo necesitara, lo devolvería. Es una verdadera pena.

Finally, a reasonably sized one volume edition of a Hebrew Interlinear. This is much better formatted and printed than the earlier Kohlenberger/NIV editions which you nearly needed a hoist to lift. This edition is a bit wider in page format but half the thickness. The Hebrew type is bolder and much easier to read than other editions and the page is overall quite pleasing. There are also added a number of textual footnotes that are useful. This is easily my favorite Hebrew Interlinear and I believe I've tried them all. The ESV English text, while overly orthodox, is often better than the NIV and other Evangelical translations that show too much dependence on a 'pony' translation. (Compare Lamentation 3:28 where several modern 'cookie cutter' translations show a capitalized 'LORD' indicating a tetragrammaton in the original text that does not exist. This would seem to be due to following and being overly trusting of said 'pony' version, perhaps the 'Amplified Bible'(?) and this 'blunder' made its way into several other versions that were interdependent). The ESV didn't stumble here. I think this should be an interestingly useful study aid for those without, or with a rusty facility in Hebrew.
I love this bible it’s really interesting
This bible is great because it has both the Hebrew words and the words in English. Very nice bible.
