What a beautiful book. I love it. I’m so glad I brought it. It’s full of lots of useful facts that just brings the bible to life. I would highly recommend this to use alongside your bible.

I bought this book to show me time lines. It is so much better. There is a section which talks about the living conditions of those people living in Israel in Bible times. This helped to bring the Bible alive. The upper room where the last supper was held , why they were able to lower the paralysed man down through the roof. The clothes these people wore and the work these people did. There is also a section about an awakening which the UK is desperate for.

This is a great book and so glad I purchased it. Worth the money and a beautiful hard back book. Full of interesting facts categorized in groups for easy reading, all backed up by the scriptures. Great for Life groups, teaching Bible study or just fun fact reading!
Must have when reading the books of the Bible
Anyone who has read the Bible understands how difficult it can be to comprehend/understand each book. I’ve read the Old Testament once and the New Testament twice and still come away scratching my head over much of it. This guide helps so much with that, providing an outline, highlights, timelines, and overviews for each book. It also provides maps, lists of each King, prophet, when they ruled/lived and what region they were over. It is such a great book to use as a reference guide. I can see using this for years to come. It sat in my cart for a longtime and I’m so glad I finally purchased it.
Great Resource for Homeschooling
I can’t begin to tell you all the wonderful details that are in this book. It is a great Chronological chart for the entire Bible. It is a wonderful geographical reference for the Bible. It addresses terminology that may be unfamiliar to readers of our time and of course there are many autobiographical details for figures from the Bible.Whether or not you are homeschooling it does a good job of what I call “creating high interest for young readers.” I really do recommend it for your home library.

Hard back book with beautiful colorful pages. Love that it’s a spiral book. The print is just right. Layout of books is awesome
Glossy Pages, Small Print
This is a beautiful book for adding a cozy feel to your coffee table, or end table. It is a high quality book, and that might be part of the problem for me.The pages are thick enough, but they are glossy, like a magazine page. This causes a glare on the page. That, along with the small print, makes it quite a task for me to read it.There's plenty of very good information, outlines, charts, lifestyles of the tribes, customs, foods, rituals....you name it...and even a yearly Bible reading plan. The pictures and maps are so well done! It's a fantastic treasure trove of fun facts. The spiral is thick, and the pages are easy to turn. You won't be disappointed with the quality. I only hope that you have better luck trying to see through the glare, and can read the small print.
