Loved this book as much as the previous two books, The Boy on The Shed and The Magic in the Tin. ‘A Final Pilgrimage’ had me in tears. A beautiful tribute.This book really feels like a celebration of all the incredible people Paul met through the club—told with his usual warmth, humour, and storytelling style which makes it all come alive.Even the people and events that were before my time really resonated. That’s a testament to how well Paul brought them to life on the page.Another brilliant book. I can’t wait to see what comes next.

This book is absolutely brilliant, there are lots of laugh out loud moments and some sad moments. The thing I liked most was that when you were reading stories about different characters famous and not famous you could actually visualise being there in that moment. This book was recommended to me by a friend and am so glad they did. I couldn't put it down just loved it. My husband never reads and I am going to download it on audible for him it's that good. Would definitely recommend.

An excellent read from start to finish. Gave an insight into how the club works on a 'personnel' level. Some sad, cringe worthy and genuinely laugh out loud moments had me hooked and although normally not a big reader I couldn't put it down. It was honest and frank in places even to the detriment to the authors own pride at times. The 'family' feel was never too far from the 'football stories' and the way it all intertwined was delivered perfectly. Definitely recommend to both football fans and otherwise, a great read. Highly recommend.
