Scott Jernigan (Houston, TX) is Editor in Chief for Total Seminars. Jernigan holds a Master of Arts degree in Medieval History, and after leaving academics, Jernigan began a career in IT, working as an instructor, editor, and writer. Mr. Jernigan has edited and contributed to dozens of books on computer literacy, hardware, operating systems, networking, and certification. His is the author of Computer Literacy―Your Ticket to IC3 Certification, and is the co-author of the bestselling CompTIA A+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, and the Mike Meyers’ A+ Guide to Managing and Troubleshooting PCs textbook (both with Mike Meyers). All the information you need to pass the Comptia Network+ exam (N10-008). Very thorough with additional details that will help for a career in IT. Code in the book to access web tutorials and practice questions.Yes, it is in black and white print but it did not impact on being able to understand the content within the book.

Simply put, it's the best networking book I've ever read! The way of writing is also a complete breeze! So simple to understand; it really shows the writer knows his thing! I 110% recommend it!

Advertised with colour print, all images are in Grey Scale. The pdf version has all colour images. Purchased the same one directly from the publisher when through the same rigmarole getting the book in Grayscale images.

Good text and an Easy Read
Written well in a friendly way, this text has lots of pictures and diagrams. It is not a struggle to read like some textbooks. Two thumbs up from me.
Great experience
Good packaging, the book was not only packaged well, it was also wrapped in thin plastic which allowed to preserve it very well why keeping in storage and delivering. So both content of the boom and the book's condition are great.

Great book, perfect delivery. Took over two weeks though.Edit: The book's pretty solid in explaining what you'd need to know. However, some images/pages should've been printed in colour as it makes no sense to follow the caption if it's explaining about colours but everything's B/W.

Perfect content. Too wordy for my brain. Writing style doesn't match the appearance of the book.
- Content is great. I aim to use it to pass the test.- Writing style is a little folksy and doesn't match the appearance of the book.- Should be 250 pages not 1000+ but this is of course just my opinion, and my analytical brain wants to get to the point. Other brains might prefer a 4 hour Dances with Wolves experience, describe the epic tale of the battle of collision domains and the victory of the CSMA/CD tribe.
