I should have had this book several years ago! It has all the practical language I could have needed through my years of finding a second home and getting to learn so many everyday things you need to know when settling in Italy. Believe me , all the small dialogues seem easy , but they all have the practical language that you actually need , and cultural knowledge at the same time . With some degree of knowledge of the Italian language, it is an entrance to learning more , and you can practice before actually leaving the house . Even though you don’t have a second home, you will certainly benefit from reading and enjoying it . The book fits well at my coffee table as well in my hand bag when going on adventures in Italy . I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Italian language and culture 😊

Fantastic book to supplement my Duolingo practice and get me to read an actual book in Italian.It’s a real confidence boost for any foreign language learner - especially because it’s a REAL book with context dialogues as opposed to standard phrase books.The author has structured interesting and real-life dialogs that are easy to follow. Can’t wait for the next edition and who knows perhaps an audio file to go with it to get the accent right.
