Great for children about the tooth fairy

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic as usual

G. · 15 July 2025

Fantastic as usual from this author - lovely little rhyming story which is so important for pre-reading little ones, loads to look at and discuss, where’s the ladybird on every page, new vocab to talk through and the usual ‘bad men’ Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len 😊

5.0 out of 5 stars The ladybird never disappoints

J.R. · 22 September 2025

Lovely and charming book just as the others if not more xx

4.0 out of 5 stars This is the same story as What the ladybird heard on holiday!

R.P. · 11 July 2025

Lovely book but wanted to share that this is the same story as 'What the ladybird heard on holiday' I bought both books for my daughter for her birthday to find the same story and pictures inside the cover! I thought it was a mistake at first but then realised from the summary on the back of each that they are referring to the same story! Doesn't seem to be anything anywhere that says they are the same story! Returned I'm afraid...

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous book

5.0 out of 5 stars The look on his face - priceless

A.C. · 4 September 2025

Bought as a gift for a 4 year old boy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Old book with a new title

A.W. · 10 August 2025

Beware - it's not a new book in the Ladybird seriesBoth my son and I were very disappointed to learn that it's an old book under a new title (known as: What the ladybird heard on holidays). Great story, but why on earth would they change the title tricking people into thinking it's new/different?! :(
