About the Author
Emily Faccini is an artist, illustrator and map-maker. She studied art, graphics and illustration at Central St. Martins, Bristol (BA), and Brighton (MA). Over the last two decades she has worked extensively in publishing, the magazine and newspaper industries, as well as for charities, creative businesses, with gardeners and environmental organisations. Her hand-drawn maps, endpapers, logos, lettering and book jackets have been widely used in the UK, Europe and the USA. Her work has notably appeared in books by Stieg Larsson, Patrick Barkham, Lauren Child, Amin Maalouf, Madeline Bunting, Philip Marsden, Samantha Shannon , Stuart Turton and James Buchan.
Emily’s Paintings have been shown in many exhibitions. She lives in London and France.

This is a beautiful book with some excellent rhymes (and some utterly garbage ones too), I feel sorry for my baby as there are a whole bunch I cant figure the rhythm out for, I didn’t think I knew any but as you get reading it does jog the memory

Purchased this as a new mum so I can read it each day to my baby son, as the name suggests there is one rhyme for each day, and I am on probably our fifth day now and have enjoyed each one so far. Some of the rhymes are short whilst others are a full page or 2 and there is a mix of classic ‘old school’ nursery rhymes and some new ones. Each rhyme also has a small bit of info on context such as the meaning of the poem or some background which I found interesting. This book is definitely not ‘babyish’ and will use for many years to come with my son. The book itself is great quality with a hardback cover and ribbon bookmark so you can keep track of where you are at. I would recommend for any new parent to buy for themselves and their child or as a gift to get for parents to be!

I bought this book for my GreatGrandaughters 1st birthday. I had previously bought the book for my grandaughter when she was 1 and she loved it. I loved the cover and all illustrations.

Bought as a gift for one of the children, it’s a book which months on is still read a couple of times of week and very much enjoyed, the children are aged 2 and 3 and I would recommend this product for children of this age group.
