I have looked for first picture books only to find they are all in American english, it’s so good to find one that at last caters for the native speaking British toddler. And can also be helpful to children living in the UK who’s parents were not brought up in the UK. Its also has colours and counting up to 10, in the last pages. More like this please.

This bright book is full of images and information which is sure to capture the attention of young readers! I only wish it had been published when my daughter was little, she’d have loved it! Highly recommend for preschoolers, sure to be a hit!

A book every young person - learning about life - needs on their bookshelf. My car-obsessed cousin will love this, and the extra bits for counting and spotting colours at the end is 👏👏👏

This book has everything! All the tractors, diggers, lorries, bikes and buses you could need. It’s kept our 3 year old fascinated these last few days – and we were especially pleased to see a canal boat here as we just took a trip on one last weekend. Super-entertaining for British kids! (less)

I got this for my nephew who is car and vehicle mad. The pictures are colourful and simple. The layout looks eye catching and easy to follow for young kids. It is informative without overwhelming children. I liked the playful layout of the pictures and the interactive questions and some activities at the back were a great touch. I hope he likes it.

This is such a great book for the young vehicle enthusiast in your life! With a wide range of different vehicles, grouped into categories, children can learn about the huge variety of cars, buses, trains, diggers etc that can be found. There are some great comparisons included within the book, to help children understand how different ones operate e.g. emptying a tipper truck is like emptying a wheel barrow. The pictures are vibrant and the labels help make it easy for a young children to understand more about each vehicle. With the added bonus of a counting and colour section at the end, this book is perfect to share with the young children in your life. I highly recommend it.

"Cars, Vans and Diggers" ist ein Bilderbuch im besten Sinn. Auf den Seiten zeigt die Autorin 100 unterschiedliche Fahrzeuge, die man im täglichen Straßenverkehr sieht, und nennt sie beim Namen. So können die Kinder anschließend alle Fahrzeuge benennen und erkennen, worin sich ein Pickup Truck und ein Geländewagen oder ein einfacher LKW und ein Sattelschlepper unterscheiden. Viele Bilder sind durch hilfreiche und interessante Zusatzinformationen ergänzt – das ist hier und da auch noch ganz lehrreich für die Eltern. Mein Fazit: Ein Muss für jeden Papa (oder jede Mama), der seinen Kindern das Einmaleins von Autos, Lastwagen und Baggern beibringen möchte.

We thoroughly enjoyed reading the children's book about vehicles, and my son, who is 1.5 years old, was thrilled! The book features 100 different modes of transportation and impresses with its maximum number of vibrant illustrations, making it a visual delight for little car enthusiasts.The interactive activities add a fun element and actively engage the child. The section on public transport was particularly interesting: in addition to the names of buses and trolleybuses, it provides useful tips, such as how to press the button to stop the bus and a reminder about the need to pay for the fare. This helps develop the child's basic skills and understanding of the world around them.Each section is filled with captivating information, but the text is minimal, which is perfect for young children. This book is a great way to spend time together while learning, and I highly recommend it to all parents whose kids are interested in transportation!

This book is amazing for young kids! It has color pictures of every car, truck bus, bicycle, and so much more. I could not name all the modes of transportation and machines that are in this book and it is captivating and educational for kids. I highly recommend it.

Definitely a cute book with great colored images. We are working on expanding our little guys vocab and this book has been a fun addition for this. He loves all things vehicles and transportation and so he loves pronouncing all of the items in here. In terms of the cars he does know some of the car brands so he disagrees with a "smart" being a small car, but you can't win with an argumentative little one. :)
