Contains numerous tracks. Notation and different choice of audio clips. Very easy to use. Full A4 size so sits on a music stand easily enough.The audio clips are good quality and downloadable rather than just streaming.I would say this is on-par with Rockschool Grade 3 or 4.Looking forward to submitting my performances on video for grading. A distinct win-win over other distance learning models whereby you have to go to a grading session - sometimes many miles away which adds to the stress of a performance examination.Good resource. Easy to use.

I wondered why there weren't second hand copies of this for sale but it's because you need to the code for the official backing track (for the grade exam) and it's a one time use code! Book is what we needed.

First, and very annoying, there is supposed to be a simple download through Soundwise to get the necessary backing tracks without which the book is useless. I couldn’t get this to work and nor could I contact any support from Trinity or Soundwise. Life’s too short so I just bought the CD but this is very poor and if you read the reviews of Soundwise on the app store I’m not the only one. So, if I were you, I’d just buy the CD straight off. I never imagined that I would waste nearly 2 hours and still not be able to download my tracks.The lessons themselves are OK. Be aware that the sheet music is for the exam and might not match the version of the song you’ve been listening to for years, or indeed other drum music transcriptions.A plus, the drum notation has been changed from an earlier grade book I have and is now much more recognisable and like that used by most online drum music stores. What a pity there isn’t a global standard but this is an improvement.
