This book is beautiful. It is really easy to follow and is a fab addition to my collection of this particular author. The characters are very folk art and look stunning. The book is jam packed with lovely Christmas ideas and again I would say that this is another must have. A lovely present for a sewer and has beginner friendly instructions and diagrams. I really love this book and will be using it to create the father Christmas this year. Highly recommeded.

There isn't enough time to make everything here you'll want for Christmas.Cutesy Santas, stockings too good for children and pretty 'gingerbread house' to make as well as the usual angels.Great value for money and the usual quality we have come to expect from Tonne Finnanger.

Tilda's books are all stunningly beautiful and this one is without exception.If you enjoy doll making, and love Christmas crafts, this book is for you!I gave this book 4 stars as its not aimed as a general Christmas craft book as it seems by the title I thought, and you need to be an experienced sewer to manage these complex projects.There are the odd items which are not doll making, which is excellent.You will need a sewing machine to make these projects, and have good sewing skills, and can manage very fiddly turning out skills. (I would recommend buying a small bottle of 'fray check' to prevent the fabric coming apart on the very tight small turn outs.)To make these projects just as you see them, you will need to buy specialised items, some are available in good card making stores which hold Tilda accessories in paper craft section. There are details where you can contact to buy other specialised items you may require, there are shops on ebay too which specialise in Tilda fabrics, and accessories if you have difficulties finding items.Details of all the craft projects:1. This is a lovely and well priced book. I am about to start to make a Santa ready for Christmas, all of Tone Finnangers books appeal to me and I love looking at the illustrations and the patterns are so easy to follow.

A beautiful book of Tilda Christmas characters. Great patterns in the back of the book. The only thing is that the instructions are only for someone who already sews and not for a beginner. Nevertheless if you can't sew you could always ask someone who does to make the characters that you like.

Disappointing really. The finished items look lovely, but when I buy acpattern book I expect to see a clear list of the amount of fabric required. I also expect to see the sam allowance printed on the pattern. I do not expect to have to add the allowance on myself. Not good enough. This is the second book bough this week, and exactly the same problem in th3 other Tilda book. I will not be buying again

Sehr schöne Ideen zum Nachbasteln und Nachnähen. Ich habe einiges aus dem Buch genäht und es geht wirklich ganz einfach. Auch für Anfänger leicht zu schaffen. Die Schnitte sind supereinfach und leicht zu Übertragen und zu Nähen.
