This book may seem outdated for a bygone era. Who needs a book to tell them where to find food in the age of the internet? But this book is brilliant. Pizza in every city in the world. Not like I can actual use it that much right now. But it's also a great conversation piece if you have it on your coffee table. Sometimes when you're just sitting, watching the TV and some person goes to some exotic far away place. I find myself picking up this book and looking for that place. It's more than just a pizza finder.

Bought this for my trip to NYC fantastic information had some delicious pie! Also found a local restaurant in there and it's my new favourite place to chill and eat slices of Heaven. (Rudys neopolitan manchester)

This book has so far not steered my husband or I wrong. Excellent guide to direct you towards fantastic pizza the world over.

Disappointingly, this book feels more like a simple list of pizza restaurants than a carefully curated list of the best of the best. Perhaps I'm just a pizza snob, but that's presumably a part of the demographic this book is aimed at, no?I may not be Neopolitan, but I've eaten a lot of pizza across the world and having lived in both London and Amsterdam, feel qualified to rate based on some of the inclusions and omissions.A London chain restaurant, and a pizza place located in the basement of a certain East London hotel are proudly mentioned yet in reality, offer decidedly average pizza, especially considering the lack of at least one Italian restaurant I can think of.Amsterdam too is missing at least two pizza places, both popular and prevalent, that outshine the majority of those noted. The same for Berlin and indeed Denmark.If this was a small book, not designed to be exhaustive then perhaps it could be excused, but as a sizeable tome clearly boasting 'The Last Word on The Slice' I did find it surprising that the aforementioned locations had not been included.However, some of the more descriptive sections and informational texts are nice and it's all very well presented.And despite the inaccuracies, in my opinion, arguably a must buy for any self-professed pizza nerd.

掲載のお店は、ここが載るのっていうレべrもありますがまずまずの掲載内容。ある程度世界レベルで、網羅されているのでその点は評価できます。内容としては、おもしろいのでピッツァリアなんかには、一冊 おいておいてもいいのかと思います。

A "must have" book for pizza lovers everywhere!
What an incredible resource! Expert tips on where to eat pizza anywhere in the world! I've looked up and agree wholeheartedly with the recommendations in the cities I know well - and even there, I'm now hungering to try other places listed, given the credibility of the reviews of the places I've been. As expected, there's an unevenness in the coverage of establishments in various locales - only 17 recommended in all of New York State, outside NYC? - but finding regional experts everywhere in the world must have been quite a chore. And what made it into the book are treasures, with Commentators' reviews reading like the brief blurbs in Zagat guides and Regional Experts' notes supplementing the reviews. This book will certainly be on my handy reference shelf to be studied before I take a trip anywhere for suggestions on where to stop for pizza!Imbedded between the listing pages for each region are gray pages of commentary about pizza things. I'm looking forward to curling up with this book to savor the facts and folklore around the making and eating of pizza.

Daniel Young and his contributors made a huge effort and here you have a massive map of where to eat the best pizzas all over the world.If you love pizza and travelling around, this book is for you.
