What a debut! My heart is broken and Im honestly shook after reading.All the poor protagonist Lee ever wanted was freedom from her abusive husband and horrible past where she suffered more than one person ever should. Finally after achieving this she is kidnapped by someone from her past and his brothers with the intention to hand her over to a rival gang but not all is as it seems. Can’t say more without spoiling the book but trust me when I say you will binge this, laugh, be turned on and cry. Such an emotional rollercoaster with so many twists and turns.If you love Dark Romance and have no triggers then this is the book for you.

Where do I start with this book other than it was amazing!As soon as I started to read I was pulled up by the story of Lee. I constantly needed to know what was going to happen next. I love books that draw you in and keep you there till the very end.Lee is a victim of so much during her life, I felt her emotions and pain come to life from the pages I read. There is so much happening and has happened it twists you round and round and I still don’t know what’s going to happen next 😱This is a dark RH book with lots of triggers so read the warnings before you dive in. It is very descriptive and really well written.There is some very gory violent scenes which 1 in particular even made me wince 🤣 (didnt stop me reading though haha) The spice was on 🔥 and soooooo good 🥵This is a Multi POV book which is my favourite as I love being in the minds of all the characters and seeing how they tick.I’m so confused though (doesn’t take a lot) What was that ending Kyla?! I have no idea how I’m going to cope until the next 1 comes out. She threw in a curveball there which I had no idea was coming especially when I thought I had figured it out 🖤Amazing book.

Great story and honestly I could of given it 5 stars but that TW just ruined it. This book has graphic depictions of dv, sa/r and descriptions of ch!ld sa/r. Lumping all that in with ‘non con’ does not prepare you in order to make sure you are in a safe mental head space before reading this book. Other than that, absolutely loved it!

Incredible debut novel by Kyla. If you want something to warm you up with a bit of spice this winter. Then read this book. It was incredibly hot!Three men! Kyla you spoiled me. How could I choose just one?Lee is a 25 year old who is married to Sebastian, a wealthy arrogant doctor. However, Sebastian isn’t like your normal husband. He is abusive and disgusting. Someone you wouldn’t want to be married to.Lee has decided she has had enough, the only way out of this marriage is through death.At the hands of her husband, that should be easy. She wants to leave him and start a new life for herself.However, the life that she steps into isn’t exactly as straight forward as she thought. Not when three men take her and want her out of their city.Now Lee is stuck in another hell. But at least this one is full of three gorgeous, sexy men, who don’t mind sharing. 😉Kyla’s writing was brilliant. The story flowed with plenty of twists and turns that got you thinking.This is one of my favourite books of the year. I can’t wait to add it to my bookshelf.

Speechless!! My mind is is jumping all over the place. This book raises the hairs on your neck from the start, always one step away from the shadowy hands that can grab you in the dark. If you like dark this is your feast, enjoy, its delicious. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

The trigger warnings on this are woefully inadequate. You can’t describe dv in detail and write it off as dub/non con. Nope. Also miscarriage, trauma related infertility and child s/a are also very emotive topics that weren’t even mentioned.With that aside, it wasn’t a bad book. It took a while to get going, some parts I skim read as it was too drawn out, and only really coming alive in the last 20% or so. Also her not recognising Rowen seemed a bit suss especially since he had such an impact on her. Decent spice though. Hopefully the next book doesn’t drag out their reunion.

This book... honestly, I don't think I will ever get this book out of my head.From the interlocking story elements, to the strength of the characters, to the utter pain I felt reading through the heart wrenching parts of this story.It's 100% a must read if you love dark romance and reverse harem, in my books.

Rating: 5/5⭐️Absolutely ate this book UP! The spice, the plot, the characters were CHEFS KISS. Every chapter had me itching for the next one. This was my first book by this author and I loved every second of it. Was i anticipating the cliff hanger at the end? Nope. Did I immediately download the next two books? Absolutely yes.

Can easily say this book is in my top 5! It was amazing. I love that it wasn't rushed, and all the small details were there that most books miss. Having it be 2 books made a world of difference for the reading experience! Onto book number 2!!

Great beginning to the series

This book was a complete rollercoaster of emotions and events. The prologue hooked me right in and I felt like we went up and down until that ending. Such a good ending. Little bit of a cliffhanger but not the worst.I enjoyed all of the characters, and the fact of the author had multiple point of views so that we were in each of their heads made it even better. While the multiple POV‘s did help, not everything is answered, sometimes there are more questions.Some parts of this book did move slower than others but they were building up to an unforgettable climax. The buildup helped with getting to know the characters, ask more questions and reveal some answers.There is the love story, of course, but there’s also a mystery that you just need to have solved. As well, the last chapter added a few more questions.While the blurb did make the book seem interesting, this book wasn’t what I expected at all. It’s much better and more complex than the blurb made it seem. Definitely recommend this book and I’m looking forward to book 2.
