This book was recommended on a recent course I attended on how to use stories to support maths learning. I ordered it and I have not been disappointed. It provides lots of opportunities to discuss the properties of 2D shapes and also consider the shapes of every day objects. This book was thoroughly enjoyed and I will be using it again! It is American but that did not cause a problem!

This along with physically having the shapes for the child to pull out is a book we return to several times per month.. We are not going to be getting tired of it anytime soon either.Lovely introduction to geometry. Especially if using the montessori method. It accompanies the geometric cabinet well.

An excellent book with a shapeshifter changing triangle to quadrilateral (rather than square to make children aware of names), pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, octagon, nonagon and decagon, illustrated with pictures of bridges and roof's etc with the chosen shape. My 5 and 6 year old grandson's enjoyed this book.

the book is good. but the day i recieved it , from the next day the pages have started coming off. not bound well.

I have used this book for grade three and now many years later I have purchased it again for Kindergarten students. We love it and have a blast discussing shapes and making our own greedy triangle with hair,eyes, legs and arms.
My three year old loves this book so much!
My son loves maths and this book encouraged him to use his body to make different shapes!

triangleが自分がtriangleであることに飽きて様々な形を経て、結局triangleであることのよさに気づくお話です。形だけでなく、自分であることのすばらしさに気がつかせてくれるお話でした。triangleがありますが、息子は腕を腰に当てたときにtriangleが気に入っています。
