All this book does is teach the barest minimum on electronics with some vague respect to audio. You could find all of the mentioned content list online for literally no cost and 100 times better depth. Infact you can also get a free trial to access this book and see for yourself whether it has any use.

If you happen to be an audio engineer, or an aspiring audio engineer, like a student on those posh sound engineer courses, you will bump into electronics in a slightly intimidating fashion is you didn't have a background in such.As a generally retired electronics "professional" I've struggled to teach an interested party audio electronics, because it get's so overwhelming.This book is the best of the bunch period. don't faff around, bite the bullet for the big bucks, you will be glad you did.The circuits are laid out in both diagrammatic and breadboard form, that's really useful. and the information is well presented and well paced. I dare say, if you worked through the entire book, you would be as good as the average electronics buff with regards audio circuits.

For anyone going into electronics, this is one you need to get and read. It's not often I find a gem like this, especially in a technical area.
This book is NOT about audio .
The title of this book is wrong. The correct title would be " Fundamentals of Electronics for non engineering folks" Or " I the author does not know what I really want to write about".This book is not about audio circuits. There are lots of references/ recommendations for the readers to read other books.
