5.0 out of 5 stars Great for beginner research!

K.L.T. · 28 January 2023

I ordered this to help me complete the second year of Uni where I was required to start basic research projects (I recently graduated with a 1st class). For someone like myself who had never completed a research it was one of the best books I bought!Denscombe breaks down some of the key areas of research such as analyses, sampling, literature searches and so on, in an easy to understand way without any 'airy, fairy' nonsense that most beginner researchers, like myself, find difficult to read and understand. He also provides some key points within each section and what I found really useful, is that the author cross references the sections to other areas of the book that would work well with the particular section you may be using. One of my best textbook spends!
