Brilliant book for children as well as adults. I found my 5 year-old grandchildren absolutely enthralled by the diversity of information and beautifully illustrated pages. They loved the gem like pictures and looked closely to find the animals, fishes, flowers, shells, dinosaurs ( to name a few spread sheets) they were familiar with. It is very much an interactive book for this age group ( Adult/Child). Reading the descriptions will come later as they get older. A great deal of care and attention to detail has gone into this masterful Compendium, it should be reviewed and added to over the years. Well done.
