I like the DK Eyewitness Top 10 Guides and I like the format of them. This one is good for what it is but some of it is now out of date.We travelled the Metro system in Dubai and it is vastly different from the maps in the Guide. In particular there are a lot of new stations which are not noted in the maps and some of the old stations have been renamed. So - don't rely on the maps of the Metro!In case it is of any help, and its only my personal opinion, here is what I thought of the DK Top 10 Highlights:-1. Burj Khalifa - well worth visiting. An amazing building. You can book a ticket online to "At The Top" and that guarantees that you can see it at the time you want. However the view from the top (while amazing) is often affected by a heat haze so it may not be quite as spectacular as you might expect. It is a long walk from the Metro station through a very extravagant shopping mall to reach it. Nice if you want to get another Rolex!!2. Dubai Museum - didn't see it but did notice that museum opening hours are a bit irregular.3. Dubai Creek - a pleasant trip on an Abra. Not unmissable through.4. Al Fahidi - a disappointment - nothing particularly beautiful or memorable - but the Arabian Tea House is really lovely - and quite reasonable.5. Jumeirah Mosque - impressive - but not a touch on the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi6. Burj Al Jumeirah - incredible feat of construction - but you can't go in it without paying some extortionate sum for a drink.7. Dubai Souks - fascinating but the "hard sell" from absolutely every stall holder makes it totally unbearable. This really needs to get sorted out!8. Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi - absolutely unmissable!!!!! Like the Taj Mahal x 10.9. Emirates Palace Hotel - wonderful building but you rarely get close to it and never inside it.10. Desert Escapes - don't know since we didn't do one.Hope that helps.

I know Dubai changes daily but I though an edition of the book published 5 Oct 2023 might have a more up to date Metro map. I don't think much has been updated in this book to be honest
It's not a book it's a booklet
They call it handy but the contents are not updated in this 128 page small booklet.Wish there were details.
