Lots of glossy pages and is a really big book too. I have a very inquisitive 7yr old granddaughter who is always asking things to do with our planet and beyond. Ive also purchased the same book for outerspace and that she really will love too. Shes very clever for a 7yr old and I would say realistically its more for a child a few years older but is a brilliant educational book. I would highly recommend it.

You need this book, even if you don’t have kids. It’s easy to understand but not so juvenile adults won’t want to read it too. Illustrations are great and every page is captivating with information. I love the facts at the top of each page. Absolutely worth the money!
