This book covers absolutely everything! The pictures in the book have definitely been an effective guide in helping me swing more efficiently, stand correctly and play better. A must have for beginners

This book is excellent in the way it is laid out and what it covers - a range of levels, with helpful drills to check progress. My main problem however is the graphic design makes it hard to read. Very fine grey print, over opaque grey boxes and coloured photos behind the text makes it hard to concentrate when reading, and I find myself have to re-read things to take them in. I don't have a problem with books normally so there is something not quite right about this one. Overall, a good purchase, but this could be taken on board if it's re-released in future!

This is the best golf guide I have read to date with clear and concise instructions based on the level of experience you have. It has helped to improve my understanding of the game and has improved my overall performance on the golf course. Great instruction detail in easy to understand sections and practice ideas which will only help to improve your game. Well worth the money spent.

Since I bought this book about a month ago, I've been jumping in and out of it. Firstly, it's a really nicely presented book, the illustrations are excellent and the training tips are very well broken down depending on your ability.I really focused on the first chapter around grip, alignment, stance and aim. I've even changed my grip, I always used the interlocking grip and now have changed to the overlapping grip, the adjustments are very clear and concise, the result, it was not comfortable changing my grip, and the first evening on the range, I had mixed results. The next evening, I focused on grip and swing (from another book I'm reading) and hit 17 straight drives in a row, normally my drives had a medium to strong fade right (and now and then a slice).The book is jammed with short exercises that cover literally every conceivable shot, scenario and defect that you can think of.For me, this book is great, I'm a thinker and find it easy to apply the instructions when on the range.Word of warning, for a beginner like me, I tried to implement too many changes at once and had a nightmare round. So now I pick just one exercise or instruction and implement that.

I picked up this book at Dick's Sporting Goods after flipping through the pages. I enjoyed the book so much, that I purchased on Bolo as a gift.I had a messed up swing with a 12 handicap on a course I was familiar with. I changed my swing and went back to the fundimentals.The book is incredible. I've been reading and implementing the lesson for one golf season. I'm excited for next golf season when I get to continue my practice and read about more tips I've either forgotten or have yet to learn.The biggest improvement was my drive. I had a golf outing in September in a scramble format. I wanted to fix my drive because I had issues with combining distance and accuracy. I was hitting 230-240 and hitting the fairway about 10%. My confidence was low, I always worried to maintain the swing.I used about 3-4 tips from the book and worked on the driving range. Maybe 4 times for 2 hours on the range. I created my own 10 step "check down" or "look down" in my head before I entered the driving box. The book has different checks and tips. At the scramble, I was hitting 275-285 and I was hitting the fairway 30%.My handicap is still the same, but its an easier handicap. I have more fun on the course. I used to work twice as hard to get the same results, now I work half as much. I can actually look at the course and study things.I have a while to go, but I know this book works.
