John Woodward has written more than 40 books about dinosaurs, animals, and the natural world, including DK's Dinosaur Atlas, Eyewitness Climate Change, and Geography- A Children's Encyclopedia. Dr Darren Naish is a renowned palaeontologist. He has appeared on television including BBC News 24, Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, and Richard and Judy. He has written or consulted on a number of books, including DK's Dinosaurs- A Children's Encyclopedia and Dinosaurs- How They Lived and Evolved (Natural History Museum). Most recently, he acted as consultant for the interactive exhibition Dinosaurs in the Wild, in London.

I bought this book for my 7-year-old Nephew. He loves everything dinosaur-related, and couldn't get enough of this book, which I gave him for his birthday.The book is very well presented with colourful illustrations and drawings, combined with a plethora of facts and information. There are a lot of facts, but it's done in a way that children can understand them.This book kept my Nephew entertained for many days and weeks. Showing it to his friends, relatives and family, he recited facts he'd learnt.If you're looking for children aged 7 and up who are interested in dinosaurs, then this book is a great choice.

Really great encyclopedia - my son loved it! It’s very informative and engaging, with plenty of interesting facts and illustrations. A funny thing to note: they advertise “60+ dinosaurs” but I counted only 61! (If you don’t believe me, buy it yourself and count them!) Overall, an excellent book for any young dinosaur enthusiast.

Arrived super fast. Is a well presented book with colourful illustrations and a wealth of factual information. However this is a present for a 6 year old boy, who's a reluctant reader but lover of dinosaurs and I bought it based on age recommendations in it's reviews. Whilst it's a book he'll grow into, I would say minimum age is more 7+ and I say this as a teacher of 7 year olds of all reading abilities.

My two and a half year old grandson has the dinosaur bug and I wanted to introduce him to others rather than the usual suspects. I appreciate that this publication is a little early in his development but it has been a winner especially the graphics and scaling. We have even tried together pronouncing the more obscure names. Phonetic spellings would have been the icing on the cake but we have muddled through.

This is an excellent book for a 4 year old dinosaur fanatic. Although he can’t read yet, it has really sparked his interest in books. He knows the names of lots of the dinosaurs, even the Titanaboa! He took this to bookweek at kinder and all the kids loved it.
