This book is packed with pictures and facts about dinosaurs.At the moment my grandson is only interested in me naming all the different dinosaurs, many of which are tongue twisters!As he gets older it will be a great learning tool.It’s really good value for money, with good quality paper and lovely pictures, with actual photos of dinosaur fossils and bones.Loved by a 2 year old and I’m sure he’ll keep coming back to it for years to come.Highly recommended.Hope you found my review helpful

My grandson loves this book and can name a lot of the different species,he loves the pictures and can read a lot of the text.He may struggle with some words but its a great learning aid.

bought this for my dinasour mad grandson - he absolutely loves it - I know it will keep him amused for a very long time as so many pages of facts for him to teach me about dinasours when I visit :-) CANT WAIT!!!

We bought this for our 3yo girl who loves dinosaurs. This is a really great book for kids. (I even learned a few things from it!!!)However, there is 1 page that shows a dinosaur killing another dinosaur and lots of blood pouring out of its wounds. She was really disturbed by it and didn't want to read it again. We taped that page together and she's happy to read it again now. One other page has a T-Rex making a pretty scary face, which she's not keen on either. But she just buzzes passed that. All in all she like this book. Loves it in fact.If you're thinking of getting it, I'd recommend it, but just go through it youreslf first if your child is a bit younger or might get upset at blood or scary faces.

My 7 year-old and I enjoy reading and discussing this. It is well-written, using proper terminology and balanced volume of facts - not too vague, not too dense - just enough for a child to understand and remember. I can see how the book will be used over the years - parts that are a little too technical at 7, will probably make a nice discovery at 9.
